14.01.2022 A message of calm Now more than ever, it’s important to find moments of solitude/calm in your home. Maybe it’s taking time to read a book, to draw or do something else that you love. Maybe it’s being present in the simple moments of your day and not allowing your mind to wander. Shower and let go of all worries, clear your mind, focus on the warmth on your skin, breathe deeply and feel your heart rate drop. Enjoy those moments of mindfulness and meditation. Sometimes, a little reminder is all we need.

12.01.2022 n e w h o m e hello from Hamilton Island I’m here to let you know that I will now be working remotely for the foreseeable future, so I thought I would share with you a couple of photos of my new backyard. I have been absolutely terrible at keeping my Caliya IG updated, so thank you for still continuing to follow my journey!... I have been working away in the background redeveloping the Caliya brand identity. I am so inspired by my surroundings and I want Caliya to reflect my love of connecting to nature. The earth is so grounding, and I want to design spaces that evoke that same feeling. The connectedness, the wholeness, the earthiness You mightn’t have noticed (yet) that the @caliyaprints logo has already had a little update A well-designed space should help you to breathe, relax and find balance in your daily routine. I’ve already added some wall hangings, cushions and fairy lights to my new little space and it’s so much more welcoming. Styling doesn’t have to cost a lot to make an impact. If you have any questions about anything please send me a message and let’s chat!

06.01.2022 Melbourne lockdown may be coming to an end, but I will always love a night in snuggled up on the couch This year we have all spent SO much time stuck indoors and so many of us have experienced anxiety, some for the very first time. Your home should be a sanctuary where you can breathe and relax, and this year has shown us how much we need this. Now don’t get me wrong, I know that the pandemic has created issues far greater than how our homes look. I know many people that a...re still feeling the effects at this very moment. It’s not about your budget, it’s about creating a place for YOU that is grounding, calming and cozy. Promoting your own mental health is so important, and the spaces we live in have the power to help heal us. #holistichealth is about the connection between your physical, mental and spiritual self, as well as the connection you have with others. If you are reading this and it’s resonating, then let me give you some suggestions to start creating a #holistichome 1. Use a minimalist mindset. Using this as a goal will help you declutter and remove material possessions in your home that you no longer need. This is the first step towards a peaceful and restful space. 2. Think green. Nature is all about harmony and balance, so why wouldn’t you want to bring this into your home? Get yourself to your local nursery and find some little gems to pot up and bring home. It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, so I hope this brings something meaningful to your feed today. Caity x Photo: @ezzwilson

02.01.2022 There are so many things I love about this space, I can’t pick just one there’s just something about Mediterranean design... the flooring, the feature door, the olive tree, the cute basket storage and oh I love the styling on those shelves ... okay I’ll stop now . Do you love this space as much as me? Tell me your fave element in the comments
