19.01.2022 Unfortunately, the 2020 Capella Pioneer Village’s annual Heritage Day has had to be cancelled due to COVID19 conditions and restrictions. But we look forward to... enjoying the demonstrations and exhibits, such as the Capella Craft Group’s great patchworking skills, again next year on the second Saturday of September 2021. We sincerely thank our local and regional communities, and our visitors from further away, for your continued support. See more
16.01.2022 Take a look at this beauty!!
16.01.2022 Part Nine: 1955 Model 410 Case Tractor owned by the Cooper Family, Biloela, Central Queensland. This Model 410 Tractor was the third tractor we purchased off of... a property in Theodore. It was originally overlooked by other Club Members as they considered there was too much missing. The tractor was sitting in the shed, with its two front wheels removed (awaiting tyres) and the tappet covers were loose. On getting it home, we got it ready to start only to find out that it had a burnt valve on No. 4 cylinder. We removed the head, undertook a valve regrind, fitted a new valve and reassembled the head. She now runs well, even though she still is a bit of a mess (yes, yet another tractor awaiting restoration!!). Our Model 410 is pictured here with a Case Model A Header (yet to be restored also) bought at an auction sale in Allora, Queensland.
14.01.2022 Part Six . . . a Case CC Tractor from Craig & Cindy Cooper . . . that's way too many "C's"!!

We look forward to joining fellow enthusiasts on rally grounds, tractor treks and any other adventures that may afford the opportunity to preserve and collect items of rusty iron and historical gold in 2021!!

09.01.2022 Just an update on 2021 .As everyone would know a lot is still up in the air as to our 2021 event .The Covid 19 guide lines make this sort of event hard to run ....We have been planning an event for next year .A decision will be made at our meeting on the 11/11/2020 as to whether we can run an event under the current rules and regulations. 07.01.2022 Ladies and gentlemen, meet "Gerty"!!
06.01.2022 Part Eight: 1944 Model LA Case Tractor owned by the Cooper Family, Biloela, Central Queensland. This LA Case was the second tractor we purchased off of a proper...ty in Theodore. She wasn't going at the time. We've rebuilt the magneto since then and she now runs nicely but has a leaking piston liner seal that needs attention. Unfortunately, as you can plainly see, she is another tractor in our long line of restorations yet to come. JUST AS A SIDE POINT: We are currently working on a 1952 Model LA with a Perkins conversion. We'll get around to showcasing this once she's finished.
05.01.2022 Part 11: 1957 Model 310 Case Tractor owned by the Cooper Family, Biloela, Central Queensland. This two-tone lady came all the way from Naracoorte, South Austral...ia. We came across this tractor when speaking with the owner at a clearing sale in Biloela. After housing some of his larger purchases, we got into a conversation as to whether or not we knew what a "310" was. Well, Craig Cooper, had troubles composing himself and struck a deal with the owner (over a series of conversations) which saw us packing up the family and travelling firstly to Mansfield, Victoria to catch up with a friend, before heading to Naracoorte to finally meet this lovely lady in person. Unfortunately, the trip to Naracoorte and back to Queensland, just prior to New Year's Eve that year, brought with it extremely hot days and an unexpected hiccup with the air-conditioning in our tow vehicle. Let's just say that we were all pleased to get back to good old Biloela and enjoy the comforts of home!! Upon arriving, this lady moved up the ranks within our collection and was selected for immediate restoration. This meant that her head was removed for a valve regrind, the carby was cleaned, her exhaust manifold rebuilt, her panels refurbished (side cover plates still to be finished) and her rear rims were brought back to original size all before a complete respray and the fitting of new tyres front and rear. She's now graced a number of rallies and has had the honour of being the first of our tractors to be registered for road use, allowing her participation at a number of tractor treks (comfortably sitting at a nice speed). She's pictured here with a Case Two-Row Corn Forage Harvester purchased at an auction sale outside of Clifton, Queensland.
04.01.2022 The Cudgegong Valley Antique Machinery Club regret to advise that due to the ongoing and volatile COVID-19 situation we have made the decision to cancel the 202...1 National Historical Machinery Association Rally. President of the CVAMC, Brian Jones, said This was not an easy decision as many people have been looking forward to the Rally, including ourselves. However, the safety of our volunteers, exhibitors and visitors is of highest importance so we do not feel it appropriate to proceed with the event given the current COVID-19 situation. The Rally was set to be held at the Australian Rural Education Centre in Mudgee, NSW, in April 2021. CVAMC and AREC hosted the NHMA Rally back in 2013 and it was very successful and a great event for the Region. Any exhibitors that have already booked and paid will receive a full refund in the coming weeks. All interested parties will receive communication via email shortly. When a new date for the Rally is confirmed it will be posted on the CVAMC web site (cvamc.com.au). See more
02.01.2022 Part 12: 1945 Model R Case Tractor owned by the Cooper Family, Biloela, Central Queensland. This little cutie was purchased from a deceased estate in Beaudesert..., Queensland. She came to us fully restored, although her restoration had been completed some years earlier. She was purchased in going condition, and fortunately she only required a new battery and the sorting out of some fuel issues to get her rally ready!!
02.01.2022 If you're a history buff, make sure you pull into Queensland Heritage Park next time you're travelling through Biloela!
01.01.2022 Attention: ACRA (Qld) Clubs. The Burdekin Machinery Preservationists have, after much thought and consideration, decided to forego the opportunity to host the Q...ueensland Heritage Rally (proposed for July 2021, after being postponed due to COVID-19 earlier this year). This decision was undoubtedly a difficult one in light of the ongoing restrictions and uncertainty surrounding large scale events. The Queensland Heritage Rally Steering Committee wish to thank the Executive, Members, and QHR Rally Committee for their best efforts in such unfortunate times. We will all look forward to another time when we can head north to celebrate what Queensland has to offer for machinery enthusiasts and collectors/restorers alike. See more
