Cash is preferable on the night, however there will be ATM and PayPal options available. For those of you who win a physically larger prize and wish to continue to night after trivia has finished, there is the option to leave it at Collegians for collection the next day. Thank you to everyone attending. Your support and continuing generosity means so much to little Callie & her family. 06.01.2022 Hello! And Happy New Year!! Here at Team Callie we are very much in denial that it is March already How did that happen??! We’ve been tweaking Callie’s therapy schedule for 2019, but can finally update you all on what we have planned... Starting March 11th Callie has a 3 week intensive course at NAPA Sydney. In May she will be doing a 3 week intensive at The OT Clinic in Kogarah, Sydney. June/July will see her working her butt off for 3 weeks at Therapies for Kids in ...Leichhardt, Sydney. And back to NAPA again in August/Sept for another 3 weeks (last day of the intensive happens to fall on Mama Bear Hutchins’ dirty 30 bday ). So we have a busy few months lined up for Miss C, with lots of traveling to/from Sydney. Add to that her regular therapies of twice weekly physio, weekly hydrotherapy, OT, Speech Therapy, Vision Therapy, and numerous appointments with different specialists. It’s exhausting just thinking about it!! We’re also extremely excited to be starting shortly with a new therapist who’s trained in CME (google it if you’re half interested ). We once again want to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who attended the fundraising quiz night, those who donated towards Callie’s Cause, and Bostons Espresso and Brown Sugar Espresso Bar for their fundraising efforts for our girl . All intensive therapy courses for Callie are paid out-of-pocket, and money raised through fundraising helps Callie’s family cover costs and give Callie the best shot possible at recovery. Callie has recently started being able to prop stand against the wall. She is also taking more weight through her arms in the crawling position, and independently sitting more upright for short periods of time. As we like to remind ourselves, it doesn’t matter the speed because forward is forward and progress is progress!
