20.01.2022 Mt Barker Council Rate Cap. Those in the Mt Barker Council area need to be aware that there is a rebate available for those whose rates have increased. The rate cap for Residential primary place of residence non-pensioner is 12.5%. Contact the council for a rebate application form. The cap for Pensioners is even lower, see the back of your rates notice for details. There may also be a rate cap for Murray Bridge Council but I'm unaware what it is this year. George...

12.01.2022 The current round of the Rural City of Murray Bridge Community Events, Grants and Donations Program close on Friday the 7th March 2014. This is a fantastic opportunity for community groups to seek funding for innovative projects and events which contribute to the empowerment and development of the community. Grants of up to $3100 are available in March and September each year. You must be a not for profit organisation or have this type of group sponsor you. You must match t...he funding requested either in-kind or cash. Please see the criteria for further details Why not give it a try on behalf of your community group! All you have to do is visit Council’s website www.murraybridge.sa.gov.au, click on the Community Tab and click on Community Grants to download the application or collect the form from the Local Government Centre, 2 Seventh Street, Murray Bridge. Council is hosting an information session on Monday 24th February, 2014 @ 12.00 noon in the Town Hall Upstairs Conference Room.
