17.01.2022 Sunday's SOBA at Callington noodle festival was a hit! The Japanese master soba noodle chefs tantalised our tastebuds, the Taiko drummers boomed their way into ...our hearts, and the local makers and storytellers were fantastic. 11.01.2022 Today Premier Will Hodgman and I met with Southern Midlands Council Mayor Alex Green and developer, John Ibrahim in Oatlands. Mr Ibrahim discussed with us his p...lans to construct a whisky distillery in Oatlands’s Callington Mill precinct, once completed this project will act as a significant tourist attraction in the Southern Midlands. Tasmania has gained a global reputation as one of the finest whiskey producing regions in the world and this project will further enhance the State’s reputation for fine whiskey. See more
