Collectively, they are a dynamic band with a good time attitude that audiences just love. From the early days and Clyde Cameron’s release of the ‘Naomi’ single, through the years of six ‘golden guitars’ for the Bullas with Stuart Watson, to the current crop of albums from Merv Underhill, Gordon Ferry and Rob Hopkins, these lads keep people entertained and smiling. ‘Do yourself a favour’ and catch ‘Doghouse the Band’

21.01.2022 Good morning friends, I am very excited to tell you about a brand new festival kicking off the 22nd of August this year at the Calliope River Historical Village! There will be markets, fun stuff to see and do and lots of great music! We will have walk ups in the morning and invited artists in the afternoon and evening with country music superstar Adam Harvey as our headlining artist! We are proud to present to you, Country Music Superstar ; Adam Harvey. Adam Harvey has long been one of Australian country music’s premier artists. 11.01.2022 Jacinta Bradley is a 18 year old Gladstone girl. She has always been very passionate about music and dreams of making it a career one day. She got into the country music scene at the age of 10. Since then she has grown to love everything about it, the cowgirl boots, the music, guitars and the people involved. She has competed in many singing competitions and county music festivals to the delight of every audience! She is very involved in singing around her local area at different community events, markets and regularly at the Gladstone Country Music Club. Jacinta will be recording her very first single in January with big sky girls, now that she’s completed her 10 week song writing challenge successfully!

06.01.2022 The Calliope River Village Festival is very excited to announce that our very own Hayley Marsten will be back to entertain you in August! Equal parts sass and sincerity, like Dolly Parton's less endowed counterpart Hayley Marsten wears her heart on her rhinestoned sleeve. Her crowdfunded debut album, ‘Spectacular Heartbreak’ was released in 2019 and was streamed over 100,000 times in the first week. It was launched to over 350 people in the supporting tour’s first week and ha...s bagged a 2020 Alt Country Album of the Year nomination at The Golden Guitars The album features her smash hit single, ‘Wendy’ which was added to country radio stations across the country as well as ABC national radio playlists and CMC. Hayley spent most of 2019 on the road headlining her own 20 date tour as well as opening for Fanny Lumsden and Troy Cassar-Daley.
