25.01.2022 What an awesome weekend last weekend for the Hot Start round 1 event held by the Motorcycle Sportsmen. Had some ups and downs but couldn’t be happier with how most of it played out. Qualifying Saturday morning was a bit off the pace but with still trying to get a good setup for te weekend, I was happy with 4th on the grid. 24.01.2022 Fairings are on and it’s nearly ready to hit the track. Still have some big things to do before it sees the black stuff and with less than a month to go, it’s going to be cutting it fine. Other than that just a few minor things to remove and change to make it full race spec. The fairings from Wet4U went on effortlessly and the finish and quality is amazing. Sprockets are getting made thanks to John from Motoproducts.com.au and also clip-ons to be fitted.... The Frando Mastercylinder is fitted along with the braided race brake lines thanks to John Stamnas At Goodridge. Rearsets getting made for the bike by Stephan Benjak At Aly-Tek to be fitted in the coming weeks. The Yoshimura exhaust and a few other bits and pieces thanks to the crew at Elite Motorcycles. And of course a big thanks goes out to dad and everyone that has helped out stripping stuff off and help build it up. More updates to come, fingers crossed it’s ready in time! 23.01.2022 With 1 week out from the last round of the 2019 Dunlop Super Series out at Lakeside Raceway, the team is happy to announce the partnership with Buddha's Motorcycle Spray Painting for the remainder of the season and next season. 23.01.2022 Last weekend was a mix of weather conditions and emotions with the weather being hot on Saturday with the rain pouring down just as racing finished and Sunday being cold and windy as well as the 600 and 1000 going well with new personal bests on both bikes but the 400 running at the start of the race and then stopping just as fast. All in all was a great weekend and can’t wait for the next round. 23.01.2022 After what seemed like a long off season and a rough end to an even rougher year, next weekend I officially kick off the 2021 racing season. I will be out at Morgan Park racing the all new hot start format run by the motorcycle sportsmen of QLD. This format is pretty much in the name.... to get warmed up for the start of a cracking racing season. I’ll be out only on the GSX-R1000 to get more track time and focus on getting faster on the bigger bike. As for my recovery from th...e endurance race last November, my wrist has healed up as best as it could be for now, doing wrist exercises to get strength and mobility back to get back on the bike. As well as changing up my training to mix things up a bit to better myself for the track. 21.01.2022 What a weekend back to racing up here in QLD! Spectators getting kicked out before lunch on Saturday, the 400 running near lap record pace straight away only to not run properly for the rest of the weekend, some epic battles with Travis Hall in the 600 races and a broken triple clamp and near crash and burn on the 1000! The wind was terrible and cold temperatures played havoc to some unfortunate riders and hope all is well for the riders who unfortunately took a trip in the m...edical van. On a positive note I brought all the bikes back home in one piece and am so great full for the people and sponsors that helped get the parts and gear sorted just in time to get out racing. 20.01.2022 UPDATE: All went well yesterday with the surgery. Very sore but am up and walking now and having food. Have been given the all clear to head home today and rest. Thanks to everyone at the Ipswich Hospital for looking after me and everyone on social media for the words of kindness and support. On the mend and will be back making great happen soon

It will be the first race meeting back at the home track since 2016 and this time on 3 bikes over 4 classes. YES, YOU READ CORRECTLY..... 4 CLASSES!!! 15.01.2022 Last weekend wasn’t the best weekend of racing by any means. We come into the weekend testing new tyres and hoping to get some good feedback and setup for the Morgan Park circuit. Qualifying was a bit mediocre with the 1000 not really feeling the best suspension wise and the 400 having running gremlins from the word go. As for the 600, I got out and quickly felt out the track and what I needed just to put it up the front for race 1. In the 4 classes qualifying stood like thi...s: 600-4th 1000- 18th 400 F4- 4th 400 F3- 15th Saturday’s racing would only turn worse as after a flyer of a start on the 600, I settled into 2nd for the race until on lap 3 heading onto the straight, I had a huge high side leaving me battered and bruised and the freshly painted 600 looking a bit worse for wear. Feeling very sore and sorry for myself, I decided to try and continue the days racing on the 1000 claiming a very difficult 13th place by the end on race 1. Due to the crash I didn’t make any of the 400 races. Sunday started out just as bad with the 1000 now wanting it’s first lay down in the dirt on the last lap of the first race of the day, rendering it also out for the weekend. The only bike left was the comfort cruiser.... the 400. I was determined to do my best with how sore I felt and got some good results for the day with a 2nd place from 15th starting grid until the gods said enough. In the second last F3 race I was battling in a group of 6 for 2nd place and on the last lap had managed to pull a bit of a gap over the competition behind me. Thinking that I had at least achieved something for the weekend, the 400 decided it wanted to stop as well. At turn 6 on the final lap the undertray had let go and fallen down to expose the wiring lume, leading to it disastrously going through the chain and bringing the bike to a holt. It was definitely a weekend to just stay in bed! Although how the weekend went I am glad that the team and I are back to Morgan Park to race this year and it was good to catch up with the racing family. I’d like to thank everyone who come out to watch, help get me out on track and lend a helping hand when I needed it most. 15.01.2022 Round 3 of the 2019 Dunlop Super Series held at Queensland Raceway this past weekend was a hot one to say the least. Track temperature was a bit hotter than expected so we knew tyre wear was going to be an issue. With not doing the practice sessions on the Saturday, we were straight into Qualifying on Sunday morning. The bike felt like it was on rails from the first flying lap thanks to John at Motoproducts helping the team get a new set of tyre warmers that actually work. Af...ter qualifying was over I had pole position for the races for the day. With the heat getting worse as the day went on, the races got harder to manage tyres. Trying a few different pressures we couldn’t find a happy medium so we knew we just had to press on with what we had. After the last lap was over I managed the clean sweep with the pole and 4 race wins from 4 races. I couldn’t have done it without the help and support from my friends and family that come out and got in amongst the action as well as the people sending messages and watching the live stream and of course Terry and Gloria for putting on the weekend, the officials that help everything run smoothly and my sponsors that make the team continue the get to the track with every little bit of help and support they can provide! 13.01.2022 The last round of the 2019 Dunlop Super Series out at Lakeside Raceway begins today! Get your backside trackside to watch the bikes and hear the sweet sound of the engines. If you can’t make it out, be on the lookout for the live stream! Yesterday’s practice sessions were a bit mixed. The 600 performed effortlessly as it has all year. As for the brand new GSX-R1000, we had a few teething problems leading me to only get around 10 laps in but hey.... 10 laps is better than none...! 12.01.2022 The weekend didn’t go as expected! Crash yesterday put me in hospital for the afternoon with and severely burnt forearm for the road, burns on my wrist with a cut, swollen elbow and coughing a bit of blood. Unfit to ride by medical so a late phone call to top rider and ex-Supersport champion,Troy Guenther. Early morning to swap over entries and sort out the new team and only using Travis’s bike, everything come together today with both Travis and Troy punching out decent lap ...times. Bit sore on the injuries but all in all I’m feeling good and hoping for a quick recovery thanks to the officials, medical stuff at the track and Warwick hospital, Andrew Smart and Ricondi Motorcycle Apparel for keeping me protected in such a big crash and Marcus Holt at The Grinning Dingo Australia and Arai Helmet Australia for keeping my head protected. I was aware throughly the whole crash and other than being caught under the bike, I walked away immediately

12.01.2022 So after last weekends racing there has been a lot of questions about next year with what race series I’ll be doing and what bikes I’ll be riding. After a lot of small talk and speculation about next year, I’m happy to announce that with the help of Elite Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia and Suzuki Finance that I’ll be riding in the Superbike class as well as the 600 at most rounds. We are planning on having the bike ready by the last round at Lakeside towards the end of Novembe...r. 09.01.2022 So this weekends racing is still going ahead and to top things off..... SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED! Under strict conditions, this weekends race meet will allow spectators to watch the action packed race event from the bridge and over towards the back of the track but not from the pits and after filling out a Covid safe form. It is also looking at throwing a curve ball at us riding this weekend with possible thunderstorm Sunday so make sure to bring wet weather tyres and poncho!!... SEE EVERYONE TRACKSIDE

06.01.2022 UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO NEW COVID RESTRICTIONS SPECTATORS ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND!!! So this weekend we are back racing here in Queensland. Been a very windy and cold day out at Morgan Park in Warwick but none the less it’s much enjoyed time on the bikes. 400 had a few dramas leading to not getting ridden much today but all fixed and should be good for the morning.... 600 ran pretty well faultlessly other then a tiny gremlin in qualifying causing the bike to continuously shut down during the session but 11th to 4th is well worth it in the end for race 1. Superbike was a handful with the wind but feeling a little more confident now with some suspension changes. Got a snapped bottom triple clamp in the first race resulting in the steering damper not being attached and the bike head shaking badly but finished up with no falls so can only hope tomorrow is a better day. Thanks always to my sponsors and everyone who has helped and supported me throughout this terrible year and we look forward to more track time from now on! 06.01.2022 So as some people may know, The Motorcycle Sportsmen of QLD will be holding a 2 Hour endurance team event on the first weekend of next month (7/8 November) and I am happy to announce that I will be teaming up with Travis Hall. Both being on the 600’s and running up the front of this years Queensland Road Race Championship and the Southern Downs Championship, we believe we will make a strong team and will have heaps of fun out on the black stuff. It is sure to be a fun filled weekend so if you are free, that weekend will be one to watch!

04.01.2022 Weekend racing is over and so is the 2020 Southern Downs Championship as well as QLD Road Race Championships out at Warwick. After the year that has happened and not being able to race mid way during the year, hats off to the The Motorcycle Sportsmen of QLD for getting everyone out doing what we enjoy most! The year for us didn’t start out as planned either with coming out of round 1 with the 600 and the 1000 being crashed out of action and the 400 breaking down in the last ...race, as well me ending up in hospital with appendicitis. The rest of the year kicked off again in August with a new look on the championship with the rest of the rounds being so close together trying not to crash the bikes and get used to the Superbike. The last round on the weekend was by far the best for the season. I decided to grab Tim from Podium Motorcycle Developments to do some suspension setup for both bikes and the changes proved good. Going .7 faster on the 600 for a new personal best with a 17.6 and shaved off a whopping 1.7 seconds on the Superbike with a 17.9 (yes still faster on the 600 than the Superbike but with more time on the 1000, the times are sure to drop more). A huge thank you is extended to the Aly-Tek team for buying a pit shed again to be in with the supported ATRC team. Not to mention Elite Motorcycles for the ongoing support as well as Suzuki Motorcycles Australia for their huge support with the parts and information on the GSX-R’s. Also a massive shout out to Troy Guenther for coming out to help over the weekend. Not to forget or shadow the rest of my amazing sponsors that have put in the hard yards to support me this year and doing everything possible to help get the 600 and 1000’s expensive rebuilds done to continue racing this year. All in all it was a good year getting on the bikes when COVID plans would permit and an exceptional weekend just gone.
