18.01.2022 ‘The Singleton Plus Two’ #ad Anyone who knows me knows I’m always up for a challenge! @thesingletonwhisky asked me to get creative with their Dufftown 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch whisky and try a Plus Two serve. The idea is simple equal parts (50ml each) of whisky and two mixers to create the most delicious combination. Here’s the ‘Riverside’ serve! 50ml @TheSingletonWhisky Dufftown 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 50ml Iced Green Tea... 50ml Ginger Ale Combine all ingredients in a glass, top with ice and garnish with lemon. This is a great one to get the kids involved, these are my top 3 tips on how to get the kids involved in the kitchen: - Get them involved in helping to prep all the main ingredients before they get thrown on the grill... - Have them help make some of the selections for produce, they’re far more likely to be engaged in the cooking and eating parts! - Teach kids about the social aspect of food, highlighting how fun it is to cook and the way a great meal brings friends and family together. 03.01.2022 Chicken tostadas with pineapple and avocado salsa yes please! I made these in about 15 minutes from start to finish with the new @ninjakitchen Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer. The two baskets mean you can cook two things at once (with different cooking types and temperatures), and sync them to finish at the same time, which is brilliant! In this dish, it is the tortillas and chicken both ready to serve at once. The baskets are also big enough to cook food for a hungry family all at the same time. Air frying is a very healthy way to cook, but I think my favourite thing is how quick it is. Not just the cooking time, but the non-stick baskets mean the cleaning is easy too.
