24.01.2022 Cyber Safety - whilst I'm passionate about our babies and young kids getting good sleep, i'm also passionate about their safety. And the online world is a huge part of this. The current statistics are extremely alarming. And if you think your kids are immune to the risks, then they are probably at the greatest risk! Not just from sexual predators - which is at its highest risk ever - but from cyberbullying, access to porn, sexting, screen time, etc. it's affecting the way our... kids brains develop - affecting the emotional wellbeing of our kids and impacting their relationships and attitudes towards sex and intimacy. Parents need to stay consistent and strong, and very involved in their children's online use. And every expert I hear talk or I read about ALWAYS say "keep devices out of bedrooms". If we all do it - it's easy peasy! #onlinesafety #parentsstaystrong #consistencyiskey #parentingsupport See more

05.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We are still here....just quietly humming along without a lot of social media at the moment. It seems this year is wrapping up at a great rate....every year seems to out-run the previous! Busy times. I hope your babies and young kiddies are getting good sleep and loads of good family time in the crazy lead up to Christmas. School holidays are around the corner to give us much needed re-charging time. XO

01.01.2022 I have just read a very real and frightening article in the Weekend Australian mag (27-28 May)How Our Children Are Being Groomed OnlineSO alarming and distressing. PLEASE keep young children off social media and online gaming for as long as possible and when they are on it as teenagers PLEASE be involved and know as much as you can - our poor kids are so vulnerable and so easily lured into doing things they may very well regret moments later. And they are then indebted to the predator and the cycle continues. It's horrendous! It is our responsibility as parents to jump in and be involved. Cause the stats are going up despite our efforts to educate the children. Please check out the article by Trent Dalton. Sigh...
