This is due to the natural makeup of soy wax and in no way affects the way your candle burns. Always trim your wick to 5mm before each time you light your soy candle ... I also make my own labels aswell I am currently working on Christmas stock and more gift packs.... There is a shortage of fragrance oils at the moment which is making it a bit tricky to finalise Christmas stock. 02.01.2022 TIP THURSDAY HAVE YOU TRIMMED YOUR WICK Tips for looking after your CALM candles... Trim the wick to 5mm each time you light your soy candle. This helps to prevent the flame getting too large. To create a candle memory the first time you light your soy candle, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass. This usually takes 2-3 hours. NEVER leave a burning candle unattended.
