22.01.2022 After a short break the Calm'N'Cuddle dolls are underway again for social welfare kids this year. Here is the start of an ongoing project.

20.01.2022 A lovely shipment of crotcheted dolly blankets made with love all the way from W.A. arrived today. The ladies who make dolly items with such love for children they will never meet really make my heart sing! That is why it is such a treat for them to see pictures of the kids enjoying their dolls. These blankets will find new homes in Wallaga Lake early Nov. We are always looking for people who would like to participate in this project as sadly there will always be kids needing emotional support somewhere.

20.01.2022 Thank you again to the Greenwell Point Craft g Group ladies who have made more socks and cardis for the Calm'N'Cuddle dolls. No more cold dolly tootsies!

18.01.2022 A huge Thank you to Linda Billett who has made 14 doll bags and 10 gorgeous quilts for the next doll drop in 2021. We love helpers. Every item helps the work load and makes it faster to get dolls to kids who need them.

12.01.2022 Thankyou to my mum, Beryl Maskell who has been working out a dolly beanie pattern and making some dolly socks

10.01.2022 Class of Nov 2020 ready to rock and roll tomorrow!

06.01.2022 Slowly building the wardrobe for the next batch of Calm'N'Cuddle dolls. Not sure where they will be going yet but I am sure a need will pop up soon.

02.01.2022 137 Dolls delivered for the year. Well done ladies! All our wonderful helpers made this possible. I certainly could not have done that on my own! Next project will be March 2021 as we all need a break but I will keep trucking along quietly to see if I can build up stocks as there is not a single doll left though I do have some small supplies of cardigans, boys vests, blankets, bags, girls undies, socks and plenty of crowns left. Hardly anything left in the shorts, tops, PJs,... boys hats and dress departments. If you would like to help there are way ways. Knitting - boys vests, girls cardigans, socks, beanies, blankets Crotcheting - boys vests, girls cardigans, socks, beanies, blankets Sewing - dolls, blankets, shorts, skirts, T-shirts, shirts, PJs, dresses, bags Cutting out - dolls, and dolls clothing (even if you cant sew, it saves time for those who can.) Cutting out felt eyes, mouths, hearts Cutting out and making belly buttons Making girls hair plaits from wool....ready to be sewn in. Supplying stuffing - Kmart pillows are cheaper than Hobby sew stuffing from Spotlight. Washed pillows, doonas etc can have the stuffing recycled into dolls. Dropping in to do a doll stuffing or cutting out session. Every little bit helps. Please message me if you would like to join in. Patterns are available. Some wool and fabrics available too. :D
