12.01.2022 A busy week for Caloundra Scout Group - Mon 27th is the Group support committee 6:30pm please come and support YOUR Group give your children the best screen-free time programs we can. Tue 28 our Assistant Venturer Leader Neek will receive her wood badge - a key milestone in Leader training & I will be re-invested, after a 34 year break to formally take on the Group Leader role this will during Opening Parade at 6:30pm... -Thur 30th is Group Council where the current Leader team will welcome 5 new trainee leaders and Adult Helpers. This is such great news after years struggling to get new Leaders, and will spread the load and bring new ideas to our section programs. With over $1.7 million of vouchers available, this inv...estment will help get local kids active and involved in outdoor activities. These vouchers support young Queenslanders who might otherwise miss out to get active with their friends through sport and active recreation. It also helps our community’s clubs to grow in strength and numbers.
