25.01.2022 Nothing more satisfying than a video of something getting cleaned, right? I decided to do something a little different - our gig workhorse has been neglected for a while, so it deserved a little TLC - and I filmed the process involved with doing an exterior detail. It is incredibly important to have your cars paintwork protected, and one of the simplest forms can be a great coat of wax. The wax that I use lasts 12-16 weeks depending on conditions, and benefits from regular ...washes. The cost of an exterior detail on a car this size would be $100, and takes around 2.5 hours. The headlights are an additional service, and considering it's a clean and polish rather than a restoration, they would cost $20 while you are getting the exterior detailed. I will be offering higher end details including paint decontamination, cutting, polishing, and paint sealant in the near future as part of some more deluxe details. Enjoy the timelapse clean, and read below if you're curious about the process I use: 1) Pressure wash wheels, wheel arches and tyres. 2) Clean wheel arches and tyres with a firm bristle brush, and clean the rim with a soft cloth. 3) Pressure wash to rinse, repeat for all wheels. 4) Pressure wash exterior bodywork, clean with shampoo and a microfibre sponge using the two-bucket method, and pressure wash to rinse. Section by section to ensure not too much drying occurs while cleaning. 5) Dry bodywork with a clean microfibre cloth. 6) Apply wax treatment to every panel and let dry to help protect your paintwork and help water bead, keeping it cleaner for longer and making it easier to wash. 7) While wax is drying, apply tyre shine with a sponge to each wheel and wipe over each rim with a damp microfibre cloth. Clean all windows and mirrors with a cleaner that incorporates water-beading technology. 9) Remove wax with two microfibre cloths. BONUS: 10) Clean and polish headlights (additional service). 25.01.2022 The owner of this Isuzu D-Max has only had it a short time and wanted to get a little protection on the paintwork! Plenty of mud from under the car and the wheel wells, but after a shampoo, hand polish (not included in a standard exterior detail) and a well-applied coat of wax, the paintwork is protected and looking mighty fine So vibrant and so much clarity, it’s really brought out the blue ... 24.01.2022 This Toyota Kluger (FOR SALE) came in on Sunday to get a little extra TLC before going on the market It has the interior and exterior detail, treating it with a coat of wax (just in time for the rain!) and a thorough clean of the inside Only after shots for this post, I had some feedback saying it was often hard to tell how dirty some cars are in the before photos! ... 22.01.2022 Wow farm vehicles are soon going to become my specialty! Horse hair and horse food galore, it took a solid 3 hours just to vacuum everything! There was some unknown staining and moisture in the front passenger footwell, so I did something I don’t normally do in a standard interior detail - shampoo’d and extracted the carpet... I got most of it out at least! This was definitely a challenge to kickstart me before the weekend and keen to do more like it ... 22.01.2022 One of my regular clients booked in for the Premium Exterior Detail - he brought his D-Max in around 12 months ago brand new and got it protected, and just wanted to stay on top of it It’s been out bush and bogged up to the door handles, and the paint still looks just about brand new - after another wax treatment it’s brought back the depth, clarity and reflections that make for some great photos! 20.01.2022 First client of 2021! They gave me a challenge to kick-start the year It came in for an interior and exterior Premium Detail - the exterior wasn’t so bad, but the interior was quite the challenge plenty of rubbish and crumbs hiding beneath the seats and in all the little nooks and crannies that we forget about! 20.01.2022 Nice & easy days are enjoyable after a few big ones This Toyota Prado came in for a Premium Interior and a $30 Basic Wash - it was in pretty decent condition, so I didn’t even bother with the before photos! 20.01.2022 This Subaru Forester was more of a challenge than I first thought when I initially inspected it There was a sunscreen spill in the boot area (not pictured) that I struggled with, and the carpet was a little harder to vacuum considering it’s a short, relatively coarse pile, but overall the result turned out pretty well! A thorough vacuum, cleaned and conditioned all surfaces, cleaned the leather seats, cleaned the door jambs and the interior and exterior windows and mirrors... 19.01.2022 A VW Amarok that is most certainly a farm car might have to change the name to Cal’s Farm Car Care Straw all through the tub liner, all through the carpets, dust everywhere and lots of marks on the seats! It came in for an interior and exterior detail - I also touched up some of the chrome, sprayed out the tub liner and shampoo’d just the tops of the seats to help them be that little more pleasant to sit on ... 17.01.2022 I had two cars in today! Small jobs are nice A previous customers father had been hit by a trolley, leaving a couple scratches in his passenger door panel! I gave it a clean, clay decontamination, then gave it a cut & polish, and finished it off with some hybrid ceramic paint sealant although it didn’t completely get rid of the bigger scratch, it greatly reduced the visual impact! ... I also had a little i30 hatch in for a Standard Interior & Standard Exterior detail, and it came up looking pretty swell too

It’s been pretty well maintained, with mostly just dust and a small spill on the drivers side door - nothing too difficult to get back into top shape and looking brand new! 15.01.2022 Life gets pretty busy, and so my own personal car gets a little neglected - we had a cancellation today, so we had a cruisy morning and I decided to give my car the TLC it’s been missing! 14.01.2022 The owner of this Mazda CX-9 brought their second car through today and didn’t really leave me much of a challenge A dusty exterior with some fading of the black plastics and fogging on the headlights, it’s looking shiny again with a wash, wax treatment, black trim restoration and headlight clean and polish The interior wasn’t too bad either, with some dog hair in the carpets/mats, it just needed a thorough vacuum and then a clean and condition of the interior plastic...s, vinyls, rubbers and leather - takes a little bit longer being a 7-seater! 13.01.2022 A Holden Commodore was in today It doesn’t look too bad, but it needed a little extra love it was in for the Revive+ (formally the Premium) Interior & Exterior! It was originally booked for a Premium Plus, and the owner wasn’t sure whether to get the seats or the carpets done - after a vacuum, I saw that it didn’t need the full shampoo so I spot cleaned the carpet and the seats instead ... The interior was mainly a layer of dust and dirt imbedded on the plastics, and the conditioning dressing has really brought them back to life All up it came out pretty nicely

It’s not particularly what you want to hear coming from a customer but luckily I didn’t have any eight-legged friends join me for this interior detail! A car that goes out bush, it was full of dust on the plastics and grass in the carpet. 10.01.2022 This Skoda Superb station wagon lives on a farm and is a daily driver for the owners - it definitely shows Take a look at that paint though with a little bit of TLC (and a great coat of wax), it’s brought back the shine, clarity and depth - picture at the end for a great example The interior turned up pretty well with most of it being dust, however there was a lot of ingrained grass and dirt that I wasn’t able to get out unfortunately! ... 07.01.2022 This Skoda Rapid that came in yesterday hadn’t been washed or vacuumed since I detailed it three years ago... Safe to say there was plenty of work for me to do The bugs and grime on the exterior barely budged with the pressure washer but a little bit of elbow grease set them free - a wax treatment to help protect the paint and easier to clean on a regular basis ... The interior had plenty of ingrained dirt and grass stuck in the carpet. I gave it a light shampoo on the drivers side to help extract as much as I could and the results speak volumes! 5.5 hours to complete and it looks brand new again Give us a message or a call to enquire or make a booking!!!
