12.01.2022 Due to the worsening situation with coronavirus on the coast, we've taken the decision to temporarily close Calthorpe to all public access until further notice. This includes access for fishing and hunting. The virus can remain on surfaces for up to several days, this includes the gates and stiles on property, and we cannot sanitise these surfaces regularly or police people to do it themselves. Fisheries Tasmania will be adjusting the signage on the Shale Road and Railton Road access points in the coming days. We've never done this before, but the protection of our families, staff, and the public, as well as our biosecurity obligations have to take the highest priority at this time.
