21.01.2022 I was listening to @paulmort1 talk about mindset on an old podcast today. I had to share his definition, I couldn’t agree more. Mindset matters most. Mindset, is a set of beliefs & assumptions that you own, that are so powerful, that your behavior will conform to them. ... Don’t leave your state to chance, remember we always have a choice, we get to choose how we feel, how we perceive things... and where attention goes, energy flows January 1st 2021 is going to be just like any other day, you’ll still face the same feelings of resistance. 09.01.2022 Starting tomorrow the 4th of Jan, let’s keep each other accountable? I don’t know about you but I’m sick of toxic New Years challenges.. Those crazy restrictive diets, habits or workout routines that suck shit and make you miserable ... I wanted to do something different, and run a cheeky challenge to start the year. No winners, no ‘best’ transformations, no cash prizes, and free to participate. Why? To keep each other accountable and be the best versions of ourselves heading into 2021. Why no workout or nutrition challenge? How to train, the types and amount of food consumed can vary massively depending on the person and their goal. To me there is no one size fits all approach to nutrition or training, but we all need sunlight, we should all move more and be less sedentary, we should sleep sufficiently to recover, as well as take some alone time to read or reflect to help manage our stress and develop as a person I’m excited to see how creative we can get with this. To participate, screenshot your checklist completed everyday along with 5 things you’re grateful for. You can either post it into the FB GROUP to keep yourself accountable, send it to myself or share it onto your social media story and tag me! Alongside this I will be tracking my calories again for the first time since I used to religiously and sticking to a minimum of 3 resistance training sessions per week, but this is optional for you, unless you’re a current paying client, food photos and 2 sessions per week are the least you can do, stick to the plan Chances are if you’re achieving the 4 things daily as part of the original challenge, you’re going to notice a massive improvement in your energy levels and mood, your ability to make smarter decisions around your nutrition & training should be a lot easier!
