24.01.2022 With the new season of NBL kicking off a couple of weeks ago, the team have decided to drop the Bushball team name 'First Response' in favour for 'Calvert Valour' This will mean that the FR page will be shut down and all future posts for both NBL & NXL competitions will be posted here. Thanks again for your continued support, stay awesome!

21.01.2022 Winner winner chicken dinner! With the leadership, tenacity and skill from our mentors/ beasts Nathan McDonnell, Nick Bancroft & Brian De Hayr, the team achieved their first success in a speedball tournament by taking out first place in the GCIP Social Competition! Fighting on the backfoot straight out of the gate, the guys dug deep and fought hard to beat a hard charging and determined opposition! Thanks again to all involved for making it possible! 21.01.2022 Rhiley Kuhrt is one of the toughest and tenacious players that our team have seen. We wish Rhiley, his family & team mates from Phantom speed. Xball team all the best during this difficult period. CV know that he will attack his recovery as feircely as he does on the field, and look forward to slinging paint once again.

19.01.2022 With the competition just as challenging as the Rockhampton field itself, Tac Ops - First Response came away with their first win in the NBL Pro Division against a determined and tough EVIL Ponzetti's Bushball Team. Dale Valentine came away with his individual trophy of 'Best Stack' and special mention to Brendon Harper for filling the gap and helping us towards victory. Thanks again to Tactical Ops Paintball Rosewood for organising the tournament, Magnum Paintball for hosting the round, and to Overwatch Photography for the awesome photos.

17.01.2022 NXL Australia - QLD Round #2 09th October 2016. With the competition growing larger, expanding to 17 teams over 3 divisions (Pro, Semi-Pro & Amateur), Calvert Valour take to the field for their second speedball competition as a team, fighting against seasoned veteran's (including Nick Slowiak!) in the Pro Division. 17.01.2022 After a slow start but strong finish at Round 3 of the NXL Australia - QLD Series, the team finished equal 4th, and missed out on playing in the finals for third by just a 3 body count. Although we didnt walk away with medals, awards were given to Dale Valentine (Most Improved Player) and Harrison Bannah (Play of the Day). The best result yet would not have been possible without the tireless work of our pit crew Carl Costello, John Nguyen, Regan Ogston & Zac Gilbert, the gui...dance from Nick Bancroft, Nathan McDonnell and Brian De Hayr, and all the teams that practiced with us leading up to the event. Refs Inc. & Team Yellow did a great job over the weekend, and awesome work from all of the support staff at Tactical Ops Paintball Rosewood for setting up one of the best speedball fields in the country. Congratulations to all teams across all divisions, who played some of the most hectic and action packed games imaginable, and we'll see you for the final round of the series on the 27th-28th of May!

17.01.2022 With their backs against the wall, and with help from super sub Robert Murphy & the guys from The Hounds, the team were able to grind out a hard fought second place in Rd. 1 of the 2017 NBL Qld Series. Thanks again to Refs Inc. and the staff at Mango Hill Skirmish for putting on an amazing tournament!

13.01.2022 After a sizzling day of competition, the team finished 3rd in the final round held at Tactical Ops Paintball Rosewood, and only just held off a hard charging EVIL Ponzetti's Bushball Team for second place overall in the 2016 NBL series.
