14.01.2022 Finally from my hand. A lunchtime treat of milk thistle, this Cinnamon Opaline who has a hen on 5 eggs, is a super quiet bird

13.01.2022 Nearly finished another 8 suspended flights, 2400 long, 1200 high, 600 wide Father in law made the boxes and my brother Kyl Johnson did the feeders Hopefully it’ll be full by the end of the weekend. All the birds are getting excited about the season with eggs already and lots of pairs feeding and mating

13.01.2022 I had to change out a couple of pairs today, just swapped the cockbirds over. The Lutino Opaline was doing nothing with his hen and the same with the Platinum Blue. Hopefully this change gets the ball rolling

12.01.2022 Progress, front and wire painted today thanks to Marlene Johnson Some clear laser light over the flights tomorrow with the help of Kyl Johnson and the birds can go in. Now to decide who goes where

05.01.2022 And just like that the new complex is finished and the birds are in. Big thanks to my brother Kyl Johnson for the help, and to everyone that’s helped me out with quality stock to get these pairs up, Rod Henderson, Sharky, Rebecca, Kevin Catt

05.01.2022 I’m hoping this Lime cock is split to blue, and maybe Opaline. I got him off a woman who colony bred with blues cinnamons and Opalines all mixed up. So who knows, but hopefully time will tell. That’s 21prs set up for the season
