22.01.2022 Shark Teeth Are you worried that your child has grown up teeth growing behind (or sometimes in front) of their baby teeth? Not a worry - this is a very common scenario and with a little encouragement to wobble out the tooth as well as a crunchy diet, the baby tooth will usually fall out on its own! We recommend giving your little one whole apples, carrots, corn on a cob and even lamb chops (the list goes on) to help loosen the tooth. As with everything - please consult your dental practitioner if you have any concerns. 18.01.2022 Happy International Women’s Day everyone! We chose today to share and celebrate the career of the inspirational founder of Camberwell Children’s Dentistry, Dr Margarita Silva. Dr Silva is very passionate in her beliefs. Through her grit and determination she succeeded in securing Paediatric Dentistry as a registered speciality. Her tireless efforts were recognised when she became the first registered specialist in Paediatric Dentistry in Victoria. Although Dr Silva has now ...concluded her clinical work, our students at the University of Melbourne continue to benefit from her vast knowledge and experience through her teaching, that has continued since 1984. Drs Jane, Deb and our team are so appreciative to have learned so much from Dr Silva and will continue her quest to maintain prevention of dental disease as our highest priority.
