23.01.2022 And in the engine room helping with management of the Rotary AUSTRALIA DAY IN THE PARK event was our President Murray Anderson (pic) as well as Camberwell Rotarian Teresa Molella who helped organise food vendors and activities for the kids. All went smoothly...Aussie, Aussie, Aussie... Oi, Oi, Oi!

11.01.2022 The year got off to a busy start on Sun Jan 3 at Bunnings Hawthorn. It was all hands on deck with hundreds of snags tossed on to the hot plate. Well done to our many Rotary volunteers who followed the new Covid safe regulations. Special thanks to Don Jago for storing bags of snags and onions on ice beforehand and to Andrew Hunter who did double shifts. We bagged a handy amount of $$$ which has gone into the Club's charity coffers.

10.01.2022 It was AUSTRALIA DAY 2021 IN THE PARK. Location- Victoria Park, Kew. And we were there (with other local Rotary Clubs) to show the flag and promote our Club's major activities. This included R.O.M.P- the Rotary Outreach Myeloma Project, the Hawthorn Makers Market and the 2021 Camberwell Art Show. And spreading the good word (amongst others) were Peter Allen, Graeme Hope and Don Jago.

03.01.2022 'OZ' DAY IS NOT FAR AWAY. Fair dinkum! And Rotary is front and centre of it all at Victoria Park, Kew - It's Australia Day in the Park on Tuesday 26 January. And it's brought to you by local Rotary Clubs. Our Pres Murray will advise more as we get a little closer suffice to say, volunteers will be encouraged to assist on the day. So spread the word. 02.01.2022 STOP PRESS. WE'RE FINALLY BACK! SUNDAY 7 MARCH from 10am-3pm. At the heritage Hawthorn Arts Centre. Rain Hail or Shine. And definately COVID Safe. We'll have... an array of handmade, handcrafted goodies from our talented artisans. We'll be there to welcome you back. The Makers Market is on the 1st Sunday in the month.
