06.01.2022 Sorry about the rain today! We ordered ‘fine and sunny’ but obviously received the wrong delivery. It looks like it is clearing up for what is left of the morning. On the brighter side, A coffee & hot jam donuts always taste better on days like today

05.01.2022 The Camberwell Sunday Market has raised millions of dollars for charities and Rotary projects over the years. While the Market remains in hibernation, local Rotary Clubs continue their community service and meet regularly (and globally!) by Zoom. Current Rotary Club of Balwyn Inc. projects include supporting: City of Boroondara Literacy Awards Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway Society... Supplying 1,000 protective face masks to Berry Street (that has for a longtime had support from Market) Continued distribution of the Market Bushfire Appeal funds, most recently providing supporting renovation of caravans for residents of Mallacoota still in need of improved shelter And much more, although the continued closure of the Market impacts how much can be presently put back into the community. Hence, like you, we look forward to hearing more about the Victorian Goverment plans re-open Victoria. Like all business, NGO’s, individuals and families, the Market will be looking closely at the plans to ease Stage 4 restrictions and how this will impact the operations and timing of the eventual ‘reactivation’ of a ‘COVID normal’ Camberwell Sunday Market. We will keep you posted, but at this point the Market will remain closed for the foreseeable future.

02.01.2022 By avoiding large gatherings, masking up, washing hands, social distancing and following the latest health advice, we will all get to the other side of this in the best shape possible. We are indeed in this together. Every single Rotary volunteer, stall holder and visitor is impacted by Covid-19. The millions of visitors - their parents, partners, children, grandparents, friends, work colleagues and staff at their local coffee shop - are also linked to our Market community. ...We are all at risk and, like you, we will do our bit to keep each other safe. Update: 1 August 2020: Due to Covid-19 transmission rates and increasing mandatory public health measures in Victoria, the Camberwell Sunday Market remains closed. FAQs: Will the market be open this weekend? Sorry, no. Will the market be open next weekend? No, sorry. When will the market reopen? Unknown at this point, but we will reopen when safe to do so. Can I book a stall? Sorry, no. The stall booking system will remain closed until a reopening date is determined. How will I know when the market is reopening? Watch our social media sites and website for updates.
