25.01.2022 It's that time of the year that baby animals fall from the sky or are separated with mum! Each year we get a number of juvenile native animals such as ringtail possums, brush tail possums and birds. If you have found a baby possum or bird on the ground, check to see if mum is around - if she is, watch and leave them there. It's parents will come down and feed it. Alternatively, if it has no fur or feathers you could try find its nest and put it back (so long as it is safe to... do so). If the nest is too high, contact your council or Rspca. If you think the baby is injured, genuinely orphaned or it is clearly sick, put it in a box, keep it warm and contact us or the nearest veterinary clinic. If you have any questions or queries, contact Wildlife Victoria on 1300 094 535.

25.01.2022 With the increasing concerns of COVID-19, we would once again like to reassure you the clinic will still operate with our normal trading hours. The government has listed veterinary services to be essential through any case of a lock down. Due to the recent changes, we have changed our protocols. We are now doing patient only consultations. Please come to our rear carpark, phone us from your car on arrival and a preliminary consultation will be conducted via telephone with ...our vets prior to an examination. Dogs will need a secure harness or collar or be in a secure carry cage. Cats will need to be in a secure carry cage. These current rules are to ensure we are doing everything we can to minimise the risk of Covid-19 transmission by reducing client to client interactions and client to staff interactions. From now on we are not accepting cash payments, we ask that you pay by credit card over the phone. Most people will find 1.5 meters (5ft) is actually a lot longer than anyone realises. So challenge yourself and guess how long it actually is and then measure it. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We are percent here for you and your pets during this stressful time.

23.01.2022 Gcan you guess the names from the gifs? I'll start with nurse Tess' cats name

21.01.2022 From all the staff here at the clinic, we would like to thank our clients for staying safe by following our clinic rules designed to keep clients and staff safe. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times. We would like to remind you of our clinic rules:... Please call us once you have arrived at our rear carpark to let the staff know are here. Please allow extra time for consults as our process takes a little longer. Attach dogs to our blue lead and secure cats in their carriers in our courtyard when requested to do so. Keep a social distance of 1.5m from staff and other clients at all times. Call ahead to order medications and/or food. Credit card payment over the phone can be made at this time. If you or someone in your household is feeling sick and unwell, please stay home. Once again, we thank you for allowing us to keep doing what we do! Please note masks should be covering your nose and mouth... unlike Yuki!!
