24.01.2022 The colour run was certainly a very big hit today. It's debatable whether the colour bombers or the runners had the most fun. Either way, they were all smiling. More photos to follow.

11.01.2022 Week 8 Class Assembly Item Recap: 5/6B stated it is their year to sparkle and shine! They have been ‘reading between the lines’ and using their inferring skills during reading comprehension sessions and analysing metaphors such as ‘All that glitters is not gold’ by the famous writer, William Shakespeare.... 5/6 B discussed their understandings of the phrase. It was agreed that the metaphor was in fact about personal connections, such as family and friendships as well as the beauty of the natural environments and much more. They thought these things mattered and were more valuable than something shiny like ‘gold’. Hearing all their voices echo this sentiment, Ms Blom saw each one of her students sparkle and shine! 5/6B also made artwork and a writing piece of ‘Not all glitters is gold’ or ‘This is your year to shine and sparkle’. Their Writing Warrior, Charlotte Hertzberg, read her reflection writing for ‘All that glitters is not gold’ and their Reading Star, Mulligan Goodall, reviewed the book ‘Brightstorm’ by Vashti Hardy. 5/6B performed a dance routine to the song ‘Gold’ by Owl City. Well done, 5/6B, on a golden performance!!
