18.01.2022 So hard to walk away from this place on King Island. A magical week spent on King Island, working and meeting locals, playing golf, watching sea eagles, swinging on swings, dipping in the ocean, relaxing in the hot tub, and so much more. If you ever get the chance to visit KI please do, it's a wonderful little island with a healthy, warm and caring community. Don't forget to "wave" at every car you pass. ... And if you get the opportunity to pick an accomodation place to stay, I cannot recommend King Island Escapes highly enough. It is the place to stay! Alexandra and Russ - the host's with the mosts! :) xo

14.01.2022 End of Days Always lovely to see another end of the day.

14.01.2022 Another amazing trip along the Overland Track with some great mates and now new mates. A super hot trip with swims in Lake Windermere, Douglas Creek, Old Pelion Hut, Ferguson Falls and Harnett Falls. After ten years of successfully running guided hiking tours along the track, it was always a matter of time when an unfortunate injury of a guest would occur. ... This trip saw me break that 10 years/No rescue streak. Luckily not a severe injury with an injured right knee of one of my guests. Amazing work by all involved, special thanks to my base camp communications and Tas Police/Westpac Rescue. Tasmania Police have praised us for being super prepared and professional with the right equipment for getting an injured hiker out safely. - a good to be out through the process for real. Guest made it back to Hobart all safe and sound and it all ok with some physiotherapy ahead of them.
