23.01.2022 When the schools in Cambodia shut due to COVID-19, our students continued their studies online. The schools have now reopened and our students are so happy!

22.01.2022 Davin has just moved into the House of Progress program and now lives at Graduation House. Here she is pictured; on her first day at her new school. Davin's school has recently opened up after the COVID 19 lockdown and is operating 3 days a week currently. Davin is very accademic and came 1st head in her class last year. We wish her all the best as she adjusts from life at Sunshine House to the big smoke, Phnom Penh.

16.01.2022 Graduation House recently welcomed four new students. Having lived at Sunshine House since they were very young, our Grade 9 students have moved to Graduation House to continue their studies. They are enjoying their new surroundings and making friends!

16.01.2022 Have you ever wondered what our young people at Graduation House do in their free time? Our staff take care of our students' well-being and ensure that everyone gets time to rest, and to do what they love.

15.01.2022 Celebrating 25 years at Awareness Cambodia and we dug out a favourite photo from the archives. Makara (right) was weeks from death when we rescued him, he had pneumonia and was severely mal nourished. Samuel (left) was born very premature and abandoned by his teenage mother at the hospital - we weren't sure either of them would make it. They are a reminder - why we do what we do. www.awarecam.org.au

14.01.2022 Nary and her sister came to Sunshine House as small children. Today she is studying Law at university and we couldn't be prouder. Here she is heading out for an interview for a part time job. Good luck Nary!

01.01.2022 When living at Graduation House we encourage students to secure a part time job and set up a personal bank account. We need to prepare them for life outside of Graduation House once they graduate university or vocational training. Using their hard earned savings they learn to budget and save for a personal laptop, motorbike etc. Nary, Chetra and Vandy have all secured part time (half day) as teacher assistants. We have raised these young ladies since they were small children. It's such a privilege to watch these intelligent young women blossom. We are proud of you girls!

01.01.2022 Vanna - our wonderful, dedicated cook at Graduation House - takes us to the market to buy fresh food for the day. We are so grateful for all her hard work.
