23.01.2022 STAGE 3 COVID RESTRICTIONS WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU AND YOUR EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIES KEY MESSAGES FOR EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITES: > keep it low risk > keep it local > rema...in within your current abilities, and > dont start new activities or a new discipline at this time. EXERCISING & CARING FOR YOUR HORSE Travel to care for your horse/s, is allowed. This includes exercising. However, all necessary health and safety measures will need to be followed. If you are unable to exercise your horse safely on the property where the horse is kept, you may ride off "off property" but keep the riding as local and as risk free as possible. You may float your horse to a safe, local, outdoor facility. Members who agist should still refer to the Agistment Centre/facility owner for specific restrictions and requirements implemented at the facility. AGISTMENT CENTRES Agistment Centres must set up a roster and limit the number of persons on the property at any one time. Equipment should not be shared or touched by other people. INDOOR FACILITIES CLOSED Indoor sport and recreation facilities are CLOSED. GROUP ACTIVITIES Group activities with anyone outside your household are not allowed. Activities are to be limited to one other person or household members. ADVICE FOR PONY CLUB COACHES Coaches may continue to coach outdoors and those receiving instruction can only do so with one other person or household member, and only under the following conditions: > Coaching may take place at private and/or agistment facilities. > If you are unwell or have Covid Symptoms you must stay home or get tested. > You can go horse-riding off-property with members of your household or one other person, plus an instructor if required. You should not travel further than you need to, and you should horse ride at the closest available location to your home. > Coaches may not travel into a Stage4 area to coach. > There should be NO organized CLUB activity. > You must be able to keep 1.5mdistance between yourself and others > Strict hygiene practices must be practiced > Any shared essential equipment such as gates, jump wings, dressage arena sets should be sanitised before and after use. > Sharing of equipment such as helmets gloves and whips is not permitted. FLOATING YOUR HORSE NON ESSENTIAL TRAVEL The floating of horses outside of your home for training/coaching is considered non-essential travel. VETS & EQUINE SERVICES Vets and other equine services (e.g.farriers) are considered essential services and are permitted on the grounds of animal welfare, whilst adhering to social distancing and hygiene requirements.

17.01.2022 Last week we said goodbye to our beloved pony Zeus. He has been apart of our family for 9years. We broke him in and all 3 kids children had a turn riding him. He taught Lacey to ride at the age of 3. Zeus has gone to an amazing family in Sydney, I couldnt have asked for a better home. It took me 2 years to sell this pony as it was the hardest decision I have had to make. He is now with his new little people and loves his new home @ Centennial Park. Thank you to Goldners Bloodstock for taking special care of him. And a big heartfelt Thank you to everyone who helped connect us with his new family, I couldnt have done it with out you

08.01.2022 CP Betty Boo (Selling on behalf of client) 13.2(unofficial) 7yo ... Unsure on breeding as not branded or microchipped Black mare with one blue eye $5,500 Before we started working with Betty she hadn’t been touched for 2 years. Betty came to us in February 2020. Since she has come back into work she has not put a foot wrong. She has been brought into work and put out for two weeks on green grass and comes back in as good as when you put her out. Betty wouldn’t suite a beginner she is more of a 2nd or 3rd pony. For a kid that would just love to jump. Ridden by 9yr old child, flat and over jumps. Betty has a lovely movement beautiful jump knows what’s she’s doing. Is smart enough that she can get herself out of trouble. Jumps 75cm pretty easy. (Just at home) Due to Covid-19 We have Not taken Betty to any competitions.. Has been to the beach and loves to swim and play in the water. Great out, up the road alone and in groups.. Would make a great all rounder inter school pony club or pleasure pony.. Betty is Good to float trim and get her teeth done. She is up to date with teeth, feet, vaccinations *post was accidentally deleted*

04.01.2022 It was amazing to see over 200 #OffTheTrack thoroughbreds competing at the 2021 Horseland Australian Eventing Championships at Wandin Park last weekend! OTT tho...roughbreds made up for close to half of all horses participating and we headed down to catch all the equine action and speak with some #OTT riders and owners. #hereforthehorses
