11.01.2022 APRIL SCHOOL HOLIDAYS! MANGA ANIME WORKSHOP! Come along to the Youth Centre on Monday the 15th between 1.30pm - 3pm to join in on a manga art workshop!... Working anime artist Nami Osaki will teach some basic manga drawing and colouring techniques! Nami will show you how to create awesome anime-style art using affordable materials so you can practise at home too! Look forward to seeing you there!! ** Full school holiday program coming soon!!**

06.01.2022 Remember these guys? Well there is an opportunity to go on the Leeuwin again, a fantastic trip to Monkey Mia., one of the best journeys of all, up the gorgeous Coral Coast. Through a fantastic scholarship from Woodside, we can get you on board for $535, including the bus fares to and from Geraldton. That is about one quarter the full cost so it is an amazing opportunity. Applicants have to demonstrate an interest ion the marine environment but they are pretty flexible ab...out how you spin it. Maybe you'd like to study marine biology or perhaps work as a cook on a ship. Give us a buzz if you think you might like to go and we will hook you up. It's in the school holidays and you can use it towards your WACE if you check it out with your school. Check out the video the last crew made about their experience and you will see why it is so much more than a boat trip.

03.01.2022 Calling all CYN/YAC members: It has been pointed out to us that now that we are closing down, CYN members have some funds stashed in their fund-raising account that they would like to see used for the good of young people. So just asking you all, what would you like to see happen with your savings? Do you have any preferred organisations that you might like to see benefit from your hard-earned $$$? Can you let us know ideas for donations? I will need a couple of you to sign off to have the donation(s) arranged. Not sure how much it is but will find out. Let me know your top choices: give me a call if you want more info.
