20.01.2022 Dear Parents and Carers The Victorian Government has further relaxed its COVIDSafe settings from 6pm on Friday 26 March 2021. There are limited operational changes for schools. Visitors continue to be welcomed at our school, however face masks must be carried by individuals 12 years and over at all times and worn when physical distancing of 1.5 metres cannot be maintained.... Individuals aged 12 years and over must continue to wear a face mask when on public transport, school buses and when in taxis or ride share vehicles unless they have a lawful exemption. Thank you for your understanding and support throughout this term as we continue to implement COVIDSafe practices at our school. I look forward to welcoming our students and families back to more school events in Term 2. Kind regards, Honey

20.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we let our community know of the passing of Anita Sinha on Wednesday 7th October. Anita was a teacher at Cambridge for many years. She will be remembered for her quirky nature and love of origami. Our thoughts go out to Anita’s family during this very sad time. Funeral details will be posted once we have further information.

09.01.2022 QUICK FIRE Easter colouring in competition!

08.01.2022 Schools are able to stagger year levels to return next week but I have decided, based on the huge success of our return to school in term 2, all P-6 students will return to school next Monday. All gates will be opened at 8.35am and will close at 8.50am sharp. Gate 4 will be the only gate available to enter after 8.50am. Children are welcome to come through any gate in the morning. However, in the afternoon we will have a staggered exit, exactly how we did it last time. All P...-2s and their siblings (even from years 3-6) will exit the school at 3pm through their designated gate and at 3.15pm, all individual students in years 3-6 will be dismissed. Please note: to keep things simple, we have not made any changes to the allocated gates for families, they are the same as last time. Here is some initial 'need to know' information. It has not changed from the last time we returned to school but it is a good idea to read through the Q&A to refresh your memory. It is a really exciting time but we need to ensure that we do all that we can to remain a COVID 19 free school. Honey Stirling

05.01.2022 The school received multiple complaints regarding the way this car was parked with no driver inside. It caused major delays. Please be respectful and use the car parks provided, if they are full, you will need to find street parking. The school uses Facebook to build community awareness, this post does not require any persons to comment at all.

03.01.2022 2021 Enrolments Update Stage 4 Restrictions If you wish to enrol your child at Cambridge Primary School, please be advised that all enrolment queries for the remainder of 2020 and future for 2021 are to be emailed to our Enrolments Officer Judy Shaw: [email protected] Our enrolments officer can then email all the enrolment forms to you.... Due to Stage 4 Restrictions, if you require forms in hard copy please call our office on 9748 9011 and we will post an enrolment pack to your home. No visitors are permitted on site until further notice. Enrolments for 2021 are now open. School Tour Information Update All scheduled school tours have been postponed during the current COVID-19 restrictions. School tours will recommence once schools are able to accept visitors.
