24.01.2022 Here is the latest information about Covid-19 from the World Health Organisation. While we do not know all the facts about this virus yet, good hygiene is important to prevent the spread of all viruses. Following the advice in this video will also assist in preventing the spread of influenza virus. We will let you know when the practice has the 2020 Flu Vaccine available. The government has announced it will be released in around Mid-April, and will be encouraging all patients to receive it in the month thereafter.

22.01.2022 Telephone Consultations are now Available for all Patients with any of our Doctors. Simply ring the practice on 46555777 and ask for a telephone consultation with one of our doctors. We are still open and our doctors will consult in person with any patient that needs to be physically seen. This includes all immunisations, injuries, skin cancer appointments, heart checks, and urgent requirements etc. Very importantly- Our Flu Vaccines will be delivered one day this week. Thi...s year it is vitally important that all patients receive a flu vaccination. We have ordered enough to ensure that every patient of the practice will be able to come in and receive their vaccination. Please be assured our medical centre is a safe place to visit. We are continually cleaning the centre, triaging sick patients and isolating where necessary. We are also doing our best to ensure that every patient is being seen as quickly as possible. 19.01.2022 Have you had a Heart Health Check recently? Our doctors are now bulk-billing all patients for a Heart check. This involves taking a detailed family history and discussion of risk factors, a blood pressure check, a cholesterol check (if one not done recently) and a discussion on activity levels. It is recommended that everyone over the age of 45 gets this check done yearly.

18.01.2022 Are you aged at least 70 (or 50 if Aboriginal)? Are you Pregnant? Are you being treated for a chronic disease (diabetes, asthma etc)? Is your immunity compromised ( receiving cancer treatment or radiation)? Are you a parent of a child under 12 months?... If you can answer yes to any of these questions you are eligible for a Telehealth consultation with one of our doctors (only patients who have attended our practice in the past 12 months are eligible). 16.01.2022 The Shingles Vaccine is available free to anyone aged 70 and over. We have had a number of patients with Shingles over the past few weeks, so if you know anyone 70 and over who has not yet been immunised please tag them below, or let them know to come in and see one of our doctors.

15.01.2022 We have the "Bone Bus" at our practice this week. If you are aged over 70 and have not had a bone density scan in the past year come in and see one of our doctors for a referral.

13.01.2022 In December 2017 a new five yearly Cervical Screening Test replaced the Pap test.The Cervical Screening Test is a simple procedure to check the health of your cervix. If you have not yet had the new cervical screening test, or a pap smear in the past two years, book an appointment with one of our female doctors today.
