25.01.2022 Hi Everyone Just a quick tip for all. Remember as the driver of a vehicle, make sure all brake lights, blinkers, headlights work. Change any broken globe.

23.01.2022 Hi to anyone who will read this. The rain has started to fall consistently lately. Driving will be a little slippery. You need to be aware that you will have no idea before you start to drive that something may have spilled on the road before you start driving. So with the extra water and anything else slippery on the road, please slow down a little more around bends and roundabouts , slowing a little earlier before stopping behind anyone, and you should arrive at your destination 20secs after your normal time of arrival in the dry. Take care. Mick

22.01.2022 Hi Double demerits is on again. Stay safe . Enjoy the long weekend.

20.01.2022 Camden Valley Driving School coaches students on how to drive solo for life. Once you have a satisfactory understanding of car control and road rules, the lessons will then focus more on hazard perception, speed control, road position, how to give way properly and other safe driving techniques. Reversing and other manoeuvres will be introduced when you are confident and totally in control of the car. Camden Valley Driving School offers personalised training to suit the indiv...idual in either a manual or automatic vehicle. We will also show you how to share the road with heavy vehicles. Give us a call today. Mick

16.01.2022 If you’re taking a road trip these Easter holidays, don’t forget the 6 tips to help you avoid driving tired.

16.01.2022 From 26 September, motorists will no longer need to slow down to 40km/h on roads with speed limits of 90km/h or more when passing stationary emergency vehicles ...with flashing lights. Drivers will need to slow down safely and move over to give them as much space as possible. In speed zones of 80km/h or less, motorists will still need to slow down to 40km/h. The rule will also be expanded to include stationary tow trucks and breakdown assistance vehicles displaying yellow flashing lights. Find out more: http://bit.ly/slowdowngivespace

14.01.2022 Hi to all, It’s been a really great year so far, pass rates are excellent. So a big congratulations to all the people that have passed this year. All your hard work and safe driving has paid off. On another note, the area is expanding and there’s a lot more vehicles on the local roads. Please be patient of all learners practicing safe driving. No need to shake your head or blast the horn at them as you drive past. Share the road. Remember they make mistakes. Stay a safe dist...ance away and try not to crowd them as they feel intimidated and will probably make more mistakes. Remember we all had to learn. Mick

10.01.2022 It's good to know your rights, but even better to just obey the rules at all times. And make sure everything to do with your car is roadworthy.

08.01.2022 Hi Everyone Please remember alcohol limits are still 0 for L & P platers. Under 0.05 for full licensed drivers. Some Heavy Vehicle drivers 0.02

07.01.2022 If youre taking a road trip these Easter holidays, dont forget the 6 tips to help you avoid driving tired.

07.01.2022 Hi to all It's that time of the year again when life gets a bit stressful. Easter. Children will be home nagging you . You give in to there demands and your off to a place for fun. What then tends to happen is you forget to drive safely. Rushing to where you want to go because you are frazzled and all the screaming in the back of the car. Then the accident happens. Life changes in an instant, but it could have been prevented. Remember , every time you get in the car you shou...ld be calm and focused. Control the children before moving off. Let them know if it's a long or short journey so they can prepare themselves. Most importantly, leave plenty of time to get there. No need to rush. Safe , flowing driving. Have a Happy and Safe Easter Mick.

05.01.2022 Hi to all. As you can tell with my facebook page I don't write a lot. I have had people ask why. Here is the reason. I like to keep the privacy between myself and any student under the age of 18 out of the grasp of predators and trouble makers. If they want to put information on my page that is purely up to the individual. I dont like to put their test results up either. Facebook can be very negative if the wrong people know one of my students and decide to pick on them.... Cvdschool has a very high success rate and I'm happy for word of mouth to spread the news. On another topic. For anyone who is following a learner. Stay at least 3-4 seconds away from the back of their vehicle as they can be very unpredictable and hit the brakes at any time. If it takes longer for them to turn at an intersection than it would you, relaxe and be patient, as they are trying to find a safe gap. Throwing your hands up and yelling out the window creates nervousness for them. It might surprise you that they are probably doing the right thing anyway as your driving may be rushed and unsafe. It might do everyone the world of good to revise your giveway rules and also remember that it is illegal to do a U Turn at traffic lights in NSW unless a sign states otherwise. So please be patient. Thanks, drive safe everyone.
