21.01.2022 Meet another great local business owner..... Paul from Camden Automotive Repairs! They are coming up to their 20th birthday in business and Paul has been in... the industry for 35! Theyve also been in the same location for the entire time! He didnt follow any family or friends footsteps but simply had a love for cars that he pursued and here we are! After 15yrs it was time to take his experience from some really great bosses and refine it into his own offering. What he still enjoys is the satisfaction of fixing things and learning the ever changing nee technology. In a sentence they keep cars safe, reliable and up to date with the latest tech. What sets them apart is the integrity of being a long serving family business with plenty of experience! They are well known for their 4wd work and are also one of the only authorised child restraint fitters in the area. The name is simply due to their location but is also very cleverly spells C-A-R! I was impressed by the number of calls that came in on my visit and that they were a mixture of new bookings and thankyous Paul is passionate about 4wd, motor racing and car safety. Child safety in cars especially which is why they got the certification. Paul was excited to tell me about his growth plans, his new apprentice and also the new move into racing Mirages! They support organisations such as Camden Rotary Club and Yandelora School where Pauls wife Jacqueline works. His parting tip was that although YouTube videos make things look easy, inevitably a lot of those jobs end up in the workshop worse than they started. Save yourself the heartache. 19.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers, The safety of our customers, your families and our community is our highest priority. When you leave your car at Camden Automotive Repairs certain hygiene practises will be taken. We like so many others are travelling unchartered waters with our business, our customers are very important to us and we wish to continue to provide the high quality vehicle maintenance and repair as well as keep those precious babies safe in their seats. ... Using wet wipes we will wipe high touch areas these include but are not limited to Steering wheel Gear Shift Seat and arm rest Turn indicators Adjuster knobs Climate control Mirrors Inside door handles Seatbelts. Please do not be offended when we do not shake your hand! We still love you all! We are covering seats with a single use cover over seats. We would prefer all financial transaction to be with card or bank transfer. Baby seats will be fitted wearing gloves and face masks. The seats will be left in their plastic during fitment (if new) and plastic removed after the seat is fitted, older seats will be covered in plastic during fitment to minimise touching and risk of transfer. Where appropriate and with negotiation we are happy to pick up and deliver your vehicle too so that you dont have to leave the home. 13.01.2022 To Our Dear Customers, we remain open at this point in time and will do as instructed however for now please be aware that we take your health, safety and wellbeing as our highest priority. We are maintaining a high level of hygiene including hand washing and regular surface spraying. Keys are sprayed and steering wheels, gear leavers and brake controls are wiped over when vehicles arrive and when we have finished working on them. We ask no more then one person in the office ...at a time. We will be prompt with our service. We understand keeping your car safely on the road during these times is vital. We are still able to provide all of our usual services. We are in a position to pick up and deliver your car if that helps you.
