18.01.2022 Please note that the off-leash dog area at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park is now closed to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Dogs are still welcome, however, must be on leash at all times. 17.01.2022 Surrounded by natural bushland and an abundance of fresh air and space to run around, bringing your dog here for a walk is a perfect idea. Dogs are welcome at the BEP, however, we ask dog owners to be considerate of other visitors and make sure that their dogs are under control at all times. We also ask that all dog owners cleanup after their dogs. There are dog poop bags & bins located at all main entrances and at other locations around the park.... Community dog walking events are held regularly, and prove to be quite popular for dogs and owners of all ages! 16.01.2022 Hello Friends No evidence that this weed has been found in and around Camden, however, AELEC in Tamworth has recorded an infestation that likely came from donated Hay and feed from recent drought & bushfire relief.

15.01.2022 Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park is now open as a large animal evacuation centre. Enter via Exeter St only. Horse and animal owners are reminded that care of the animal including adequate food and water supply as well as full time supervision remains their responsibility once they arrive at the evacuation centre.... You are also asked to bring appropriate identification for their animals. Contact the Agricultural Services Hotline on 1800 814 647 if you need emergency assistance

12.01.2022 Great news! Camden Men's Shed is back open & operational after a COVID shutdown since March. The guys have made a great start on the gardens and park areas with everything on it's way back to looking spic & span. They have their work cut out for them with over 150 acres needing some TLC. Camden Men’s Shed Mission is ... "To be a place for Men of the Camden and surrounding Districts that supports and fosters the mental, social and physical wellbeing of its members through friendship, activity, company and laughter." Camden Men's Shed operates between 9am and 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays every week. Membership is FREE with members able to attend any day and time that suits. 05.01.2022 Hello Friends Unfortunately we continue to lose trees at the BEP as a result of them being chewed on & eaten by horses. It would be appreciated if all park users could assist us in protecting our trees & shrubs by refraining from tying their horses in close proximity to those plants and by not allowing their animals to roam freely unsupervised.... It would also be appreciated if users who observe such behaviour could speak to the offenders and advise them otherwise. As always your assistance & support is appreciated. BEP Management Committee

04.01.2022 From tomorrow, Friday 15/5/2020, Camden Council advises that Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park dog off leash status will re-open, based on the latest NSW Government guidelines: Dogs are permitted off leash before 10am and after 5pm. All dogs must be on leash at all other times. All dog owners are asked to keep control of their dogs and of course to clean up after them (BYO dog bags)... Everybody is reminded to please continue to follow social distancing guidelines, practice good handwashing hygiene and get tested for COVID-19, even if only showing mild symptoms. 02.01.2022 Hello friends At present the Camden BEP is still open for bike riders, walkers and normal users. Naturally all visitors should practice the Social Distancing and hygiene norms under the current circumstances. Should the park status change we will advise via Facebook and our website. All events & bookings have been cancelled up until 31st May at this stage and all event organisers have been notified.... Also, equestrian users are not permitted to float or bring their horses to the BEP as such travel is not considered "essential". We wish all visitors and supporters of the Camden BEP the best of health and fortune during these remarkable times.
