25.01.2022 S U M M E R F O O T B A L L B B Q Bunnings sausage sanga’s are back in business, and so are Falcons . Well, the Falcons BBQ could be back in business if we had a BBQ CHEF !!... Our Wednesday night competition is for All Age Men, Women, over 35 men and this year includes our 14-15yr boys comp. The BBQ isn’t quite as demanding as Thursday nights, but there could just be a revolt if there isn’t a BBQ at all . So, we are calling for all those keen controllers of the tongs to come forth and volunteer to feed the Wednesday night crew from about 6pm to 9pm for 10 weeks beginning next Wednesday. If that’s you, give Paul a call on 0405 595129 to give him the good news .

24.01.2022 The MFA continues to work closely with Local Clubs, Football NSW, and relevant Government agencies to ensure that football is operating in accordance with the N...SW Government’s Public Health Orders and recommendations. To help ensure that the appropriate safeguards are in place when participating, all players, parents, officials and spectators are required to adhere to the following: Avoid carpools or travel with people from different household groups where possible; Only 1 parent/guardian is to accompany players aged under 18 years to junior/youth football. Avoid bringing anyone who is elderly or may be at high or increased risk of illness; Wash and/or sanitize hands before and after attending all training and games; Players arrive dressed and ready to train or play; Do not use changerooms; Comply with the 1.5m social distancing rule; No shaking hands, team huddles, high fives, or hugging other players, match officials, team officials or spectators; No player walkouts prior to matches; Do not share drink bottles; Do not share containers of food, including oranges. Players should bring their own food and snacks; Do not attend football if you have flu like symptoms or are feeling unwell; Cover your coughs and sneezes; Players and spectators must not socialize or assemble in groups before, during or after football; Once training and games are finished depart the venue as soon as possible; Get tested for COVID-19 if you feel unwell or develop cold or flu like symptoms; Compliance with these protocols, including social distancing 1.5 metres, good hygiene practices, limiting the number of adults present, not shaking hands and not attending if you are feeling unwell is what is effective in minimising the risk of community transmission. We ask that the Macarthur Football Family continue to adhere to the protocols that have been put in place to keep you safe.

As a re...minder to all players and coaches, in the event of more than one team finishing the competition on equal highest points, the Premiers and the remaining Finalists will be determined as follows: 1. Most points from games played between the two teams during the season; 2. Highest goal difference from games played between the two teams during the season; 3. Highest goal difference; 4. Highest goals scored for in total.

05.01.2022 S U M M E R F O O T B A L L Oh my goodness-golly-gracious-me! Haven't you all got your knickers in a knot over summer football! There are some important details you need to be aware of, regarding SUMMER FOOTBALL at Camden Falcons. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER unless you have been invited to register from your team manager. Summer Football is looking a little different this year due to our COVID safe plan and we are even more limited than usual, with the amount of teams we c...an allow in the competition. Summer Football at Camden Falcons has never been a competition that accepts registration from individual players and puts them in to teams, like in winter. For over 20 years, Summer Football has been open to invitation from Falcons and other clubs within the community as whole teams, and team nominations begin every year with an invitation for previous teams to return. Due to the reduced competition format this year, the junior competition on Thursday nights has filled up simply with returning teams. We are completely overwhelmed with emails and trying to reply to everyone, but it is just not possible to answer every email. If we haven't replied, it's probably because we can't accommodate you and as unfortunate as that is, it is not a personal decision, it is a physical restriction of field space and available time slots. Registration online is not available to anyone who has not been invited or requested to register. Please do not register your child and then email to tell me you want them put in a team, as you will be very disappointed when this doesn't happen. Registration information has been emailed to teams who are confirmed in the competition and ONLY those players should register online. We will happily refund anyone who has mistakenly registered. We thank you enormously for your understanding and we apologise profusely that we cannot accommodate any more junior teams, but we have all heard plenty about the unprecedented year that the world is having and Summer Football at Falcons has also fallen victim to the pandemic. 03.01.2022 The NSW Chief Health Officer has issued an important reminder that attendance at community sport be limited to only one parent/guardian per child, where the chi...ld requires parental supervision. This measure is in place to not only reduce the risk of community transmission, but to ensure we can keep community sport operating.
