22.01.2022 Ready for nippers to begin! All registrations are online via https://members.sls.com.au Parents can use the Active Kids Voucher to pay membership for each child under 18 years of age. If you wish to use the voucher, each member must have an account with Surf Life Saving to renew membership individually. The Active Kids Voucher cannot be used to pay for a family group membership. If you need additional instructions, please let us know and we can send via private message.

20.01.2022 The Camden Haven SLSC bar will be opening today between 3pm to 6pm. BYO picnic hamper / nibbles if that suits. We can now have up to 16 people seated on the balcony and 20 people inside, also seated. Entrance will be via the front door on the beach side of the building, and exit will be out the back down the stairs. Lift access / exit will be as usual. We have a compulsory sign in register upon entering, where you can use a QR Reader on your phone. Don’t forget all our staff are volunteers and will be doing their best for everyone. Look forward to seeing you there! Note: From next week our opening hours will be 4 to 7pm during December & January on a Sunday.

11.01.2022 Our surf club family is heartbroken. We have lost a bold and passionate member of our club and committee. Sam was a dedicated volunteer and organiser who loved seeing local children learning on the beach through our nippers program. She was a great support to all of us, always ready to roll up her sleeves to work. Her hugs were always warm and appreciated. Our thoughts are with Sam's family, especially her two young daughters. Due to Covid19 restrictions, we can only have 12 people outside on the balcony seated and 20 people inside, also seated. Entrance will be via the front door on the beach side of the building, and exit will be out the back down the stairs. Lift access / exit will be as usual. We have a compulsory sign in register upon entering, or you can scan our bar code with your QR Reader on your phone. While things will be a little bit different for a while, we are happy to be back. The 2020/21 patrol season has already seen large numbers of beachgoers heading to the coast, and with temperatures set to soar over summer surf lifesavers are reminding beachgoers to: Swim at a patrolled location between the red and yellow flags Wear a life jacket when rock fishing or boating Read the safety signs and ask a lifesaver or lifeguard for advice Swim with a friend and keep an eye on your mates For more beach safety tips and to find your nearest patrolled location, visit the Beachsafe website or download the app: http://bit.ly/SLSBeachSafe
