24.01.2022 During the remote learning in Term 2, the English Faculty promoted a writing competition to the students through CANVAS. Run by educational publishing house, Jacaranda, the competition was open to all age groups in a range of fiction categories. We were extremely pleased to hear that Amelia Smith, from Year 11, who submitted an entry into the poetry section, did us, and herself, proud. Congratulations, Amelia!

16.01.2022 A few weeks ago, Miss Fascioli's Year 8 History class 8G had a taste of the Viking Age. Students first learnt about the various foods available to Vikings and then made their own Viking banquet Menu! In this lesson students were able to try barley porridge with honey, mixed berries and some bread! All ingredients that were used would have been available for Vikings.

16.01.2022 Attention all Camden High students and parents, 2020 has been a year where a lot of things have been postponed or put on hold due to Covid-19 but we have some exciting news. The Camden vs Cowra exchange will be running in 2020. In saying this it won’t be the same as the previous 48 years, but we want to honour the tradition by continuing our historic partnership with Cowra and compete for the Robert Montgomery shield. On Thursday 19th November 2020 we will be competing in a v...irtual exchange. We have set it up to get as many students involved as possible while trying to stick to our core activities. We do apologise in advance that not all activities that are normally on the program are taking place, but we are competing during the school day via a video link. The activities that will take place are: Basketball shoot out (Junior and Senior boys/ Junior and Senior girls and a mixed team) Netball shoot out (Junior and Senior boys/ Junior and Senior girls and a mixed team) League place kick shoot out (Junior and Senior boys/ Junior and Senior girls) Soccer place kick shoot out (Junior and Senior boys/ Junior and Senior girls) Chess (Junior and Senior team) Superquiz (Junior and Senior team) Debating (Junior and Senior team) Online Gaming (Game TBC) All sports will have a maximum of 5 students per team. Senior team trials for netball basketball, soccer and football will take place in the hall and on the oval at 1:45pm on Thursday 15/10. Only students who attend will be selected for the exchange. Junior trials for soccer netball basketball and football will take place at recess on 16/10 in the hall and oval. Trials for all other sports will take place at recess in the hall on Thursday 15/10. Please ensure you sign up upon arrival to the trial and bring the required equipment (boots, shooting sleeve). Thanks Mr Garland
