23.01.2022 I was called to a newly built home because they kept smelling gas in there back yard and the construction plumber had been back twice to fix the gas leak and did not want to come back a 3rd time, with the help of my gas detector I was able to find the leak behind the bayonet fitting in the outdoor patio area, this was a home that was roughly 6 months old, goes to show you the lack of diligence and proper testing procedures where not followed when signing off this gas installation. There was also a leak on gas tapping on the main out the front, this whole install was not to crash hot.

22.01.2022 Iv been a bit quite on the posts front the last few weeks because iv been busy getting the new addition to the Camden Valley Plumbing family up and running. This new Service Vehicle is equipped with a large water jetter set up so it will be able to jet up to 600mm sewer or stormwater mains so that I can start catering better to our growing industrial and commercial clients.

21.01.2022 A really good point, having clean gutters is also beneficial to stop your stormwater drains getting blocked. Contact Envision Property maintenance for a quote!

15.01.2022 If you have gas on your property, swapping from a electric storage hot water system to an instantaneous unit will save you money in the long run and really frees up a lot of space down the side of your house.

15.01.2022 This was a sub meter install I completed on a granny flat last week, so that the water usage could be separated from the main residence and the tennat could be billed accurately for there usage.

12.01.2022 Part 1: I attended a job at a rental property Because they had water coming out of there storm water drain at the kerb, a fair bit of investigation found the leak to be coming from beneath the sink, the concrete was broken up and the leak followed to its source which ended up being 8m away beneath the slab, it was tracking through the lagging and coming out at the end, it was by sheer luck that the hole I jackhammered was right on top of the leak as I was going to bypass that section of pipework, you’ve got to have a win sometimes!

10.01.2022 This is a 3 stage water filtration unit I installed for a client that only has access to tank water on there property. It has a particulate filter, carbon filter and a final UV filter to sterilize tank water to a safe drinking state. This particular unit will filter 130L/min so it’s capable of filtering water to a full household without pressure loss. It also has an alarm to remind you of when the filters and UV light needs changing.

10.01.2022 This 135L has storage Dux Prodigy 5 can deliver 265L of hot water in its first hour of operation, which is great performance from such a small unit.

10.01.2022 This is a Rheem 315 twin element stainless steel install that I completed last week, If your looking for reliability and performance in a electric hot water service you can’t get much better than this.

06.01.2022 This was a severe ingress of roots into a split pvc sewer line caused by a concrete block and bricks being backfilled onto the pipe when it was laid, this is why you should always backfill with gravel.

06.01.2022 This picture of a earthenware pipe joint shows how effective a Jet is when you use a root cutter and camera to locate and concentrate on areas with heavy root ingress. 100% root removal. Although if roots get into the pipe they will always grow back but removing all of them extends time between clean outs significantly.

03.01.2022 A perfect example of why a camera inspection of your drainage after a blockage is relieved is a must! If your drainage was fine it wouldn’t be blocked!

02.01.2022 A quick 315L hot water service change over.
