22.01.2022 Hoover House B+B ...named for Us President Herbert Hoover as a 24yo Mining Engineer working for a British Mining Co, recommended they purchase the Sons of Gwalia mine. They earned the purchase price back in 1month. Hoover stayed in this the mine managers house when in Gwalia. 21.01.2022 Four years ago Jack and I spent few weeks in historic Silverton NSW to start training some camels with Harold Cannard and bring them home. A great little town with a terrific museum in the old gaol with all manner of artifacts. And old school technology. Rugged country which has been in drought from then till very recently. Loved it!

20.01.2022 A thin layer of fog over the Swan River and the grape vines at Woodbridge this morning. Can’t wait for the grapes to ripen.... might have to get wet! On second thoughts the river is probably shallow enough to get over on a camel though
