22.01.2022 The changes the federal government have made today to the JobKeeper scheme from Sept 20 are good news for many businesses. Instead of having to show a decrease of 30% for the June quarter and the Sept quarter, businesses will only need to show the decrease for the Sept quarter. This means any decline in business due to border closures, new travel restrictions will be taken into account. They have also changed the date that staff were employed from, from March 1 to July 1. Bu...t the JK rate will still decrease to $1200 per month instead of $1500 per month for Oct - Dec, with a further decrease in Jan 21. I’ll post more details as they are released.
