18.01.2022 Check out this story by ABC Northern Tasmania for a fantastic insight into the history of the Julie Burgess. I recommend visiting the Bass Strait Maritime Centre and going for a sail on the Julie Burgess while youre visiting Devonport. An experience that will take you back in time!

17.01.2022 This was amazing - to watch a sailor climb the mast and undo ropes while balancing so high up and making it look easy. Imagine what it would be like in rough weather out at sea!

There are two single beds and plenty of room for a cot if required. The cottage is located close to family friendly activities, including the Bass Strait Maritime Centre, Bluff Beach and playground, walking tracks, Splash Devonport Aquatic and Leisure Centre, MINI GOLF DEVONPORT, Reading Cinemas Devonport.

15.01.2022 I love reading through the comments left in our guest book, my homemade biscuits frequently get a mention. "To call this accommodation a cottage is a misnomer. Its a wonderfully warm, cosy and roomy house. Comfortable, well appointed; I could not ask for more. Loved the biscuits."
