22.01.2022 I’m excited to launch the new Camerakind website! While I’m not taking bookings just yet, it provides a sneak peak into some of the photography lessons and workshops I plan to offer in 2021. A big thank you to the talented Yasmin at Toasted Coconut Creative for web design and Jas at Jasmine Designs for graphic design. I’m very appreciative of their guidance and expertise throughout this process. I hope you like the end result, which is hopefully clear, accessible and a little bit colourful! More news to come in 2021. www.camerakind.com.au

19.01.2022 Starting up a new business can be stressful, but there are also some really enjoyable aspects! Being a visual person, I was particularly excited about hiring a graphic designer. The talented Jasmine Designs guided me through the process of developing a mood board and coming up with different concepts which resulted in a logo, brand guideline and colour palette that I am really happy with. I knew I wanted green to be my primary colour it’s my favourite. I also wanted the log...o to feel hand drawn and not too corporate or sterile to reflect the personalised and accessible nature of my teaching approach. Here are some of the initial (rather vague) reference materials that I gave Jas, as well as the core logo she came up with. 13.01.2022 Another lovely portrait from my recent portraiture workshop, this one by George. We discussed working with natural light and how direct sun on a bright, sunny day can be harsh and unflattering for portraiture. So, George moved his subject into full shade, resulting in a soft and very flattering light. The shallow depth of field is also very successful in separating the subject from the background.
