18.01.2022 Boxing Day Speedweek Rd1 at Perth Motorplex Qualifying: 6th in Group Heat 1: 5th Dash 1: 9th... Feature: DNF Unfortunately midway through the feature we had some debris from the track hit the side of our motor and snap a spark plug and a nozzle line, wich has then caused internal damage. Disappointing result as we were mixing it with some big names again and putting down some solid laps. This will put us out of racing for a fair while now until we get our engines rebuilt / repaired. Thankyou to our supporters, crew and sponsors that have made racing possible. 18.01.2022 Bunbury Speedway Round 3 WA Speedweek Qualifying: 6th in Group 14.543 Heat 1: 4th Dash B: 7th... A Main: 11th We thought we were out for a while after finding some minor internal engine damage after Round 1 at Perth Motorplex on Boxing Day. Thanks to the Double Deuce Motorsport #22 Sponsors this changed midweek. With the purchase of another engine a late call was made to prepare the 4 car for Bunbury on New Year’s Day. Instantly an improvement was noticed engine wise with a qualifying time not far off some of the quicker cars, a solid heat race result trading places with some big names then put us straight into the B dash to determine the outside starting position come A Main time. 7th place dash finish would mean we would start from position 14 of the 20 car field, in the end surviving the carnage / track condition coming home in 11th with a straight car ready to go again. Forever appreciative of the chance to do this and the late change midweek we have had some very late nights and a lot of effort by the crew to have this car ready to race New Years Day. Thank you to the Teams sponsors, supporters and all our crew who help to make a race night run smoothly.
