17.01.2022 The brigade has two crews out locally today assisting SES Lake Macquarie with storm affected calls. Both major appliances are spending today and this evening with roof damage, fallen trees and water runoff calls.

15.01.2022 Patrols will continue this morning after a number of trees were inspected this early morning. So you may see applinces dealing with small hot spots which remain close to edges. This includes a ten minute phone conversation to complete the RFS Bushfire Household Assessment Tool followed by a short property visit by a brigade members to complete an prevention assessment. 10.01.2022 Cameron Park crew are currently in the Woy Woy area assisting SES Gosford with emergency calls. Lake Macquarie brigades are currently deployed across the Council area aiding SES and responding to normal emergency calls. Mow grass and remove cuttings, have a cleared area around your home. 3. Remove material that can burn, like wood piles and furniture from around the edge of the house. 4. Clear debris from your gutters to stop embers causing a fire.... 5. Prepare a sturdy hose or hoses that can reach around your home and make sure you've got a reliable source of water. 07.01.2022 NSW RFS, NSW F+R and NSW SES crews were in Port Macquarie in numbers to aid local communities with the necessary cleanup that is occurring across their area for days to come. Local brigades have been assisting since Thursday and will continue to be part of a large commitment by the Central Coast RFS District sending up on average ten trucks a day with full crews to assist.
