25.01.2022 Until my hubby comes out, knocks on the door and asks if everything's okay?
25.01.2022 Gotta love those tiny vacations.
24.01.2022 Yes! This! I love the fact that my older kids can spend hours outside. Usually coming inside filthy and sweaty and smiling ear to ear. For me, I had to let them take the lead. One example is when we moved to our home 5 years ago, we built a sandpit. Unfortunately most of that sand ended up everywhere but the sandpit and my kids prefer to turn any bare patches in the lawn into their sandpit. Currently they are turning the area under the trampoline into a dam. Some bound...aries we put in place: we limit the water use with a timer on the tap. We have them clothes to wear as they were staining their normal clothes. And we gave them a small towel to wipe themselves down before coming inside. We can always mend the holes I. The lawn when they're older. And I wouldn't trade that independent play time for anything. What are your tips for independent play outdoors? You can share pics in the comments!

19.01.2022 Great video about small people with big feelings and how to care for them. Free for the next 20 hours. Worth the watch and if you're pressed for time you can watch at a faster speed by adjusting the settings on YouTube. Big hugs Mummas!

17.01.2022 "When people ask me how I’m doing in quarantine, you know what else I tell them? I cry a little every day. Every. Single. Day. And you know what else? I’m not ashamed of it. I cry when my kids don’t listen to me. I cry when I cook something delicious and those little buggers tell me it’s gross. I cry because I have writer’s block and have lost the book-writing momentum I had before this quarantine started. I cry because my business isn’t taking off as quickly as I would like it to. I cry because people keep dying. I cry because I’m touched by people who are beautiful and generous and are doing everything they can to make the world keep turning. I cry because, in general, I feel like I’m failing at everything. Are you feeling that way too?"
16.01.2022 Come sit down to eat. You can't eat and walk at the same time, you're dropping food everywhere.

11.01.2022 MOPS Blog Monday ... Before I became a mum I dreamt of what my children would be like. Well-behaved ALL of the time, impeccably dressed ALL of the time, well-mannered ALL of the time, model kinder and school students, achieving top grades and being chosen to be school representatives And then I became a mum

07.01.2022 An important thing for us to remember.
07.01.2022 No matter how many times you call them beautiful, if you're being negative about your own body, thats what they'll pick up. If you're calling your stretchmarks and cellulite disgusting. They'll think of themselves as disgusting when they get stretchmarks and cellulite.

06.01.2022 Such a good reminder. We shouldn't measure our worth as a mother on our domesticity. You can be a great mother with a huge pile of laundry and dirty windows.
