24.01.2022 The elusive work/life balance: Do you feel like you are failing? Balancing work and life is never easy, especially these days when workers are constantly in contact with each other via mobile devices and laptop computers that can make it so easy to bring work home at the end of the day. There's a lot of advice out there on work-life balance. But the truth is, most people aren't interested in advice on how to balance their work life with their personal life. Instead, they wan...t to know how to juggle both. I recently came across these five tips that work amazingly well mixed with the life changing effects of Mindfullness Meditation. 1. Drop the guilt. 2. Be intentional about your time. 3. Re-evaluate how you show up in each role. 4. Put yourself at the top of your priority list. 5. Manage your stress level. #camomilemeditationgroup #mindfulness #meditation #love #selfcare #selflove #wellness #mentalhealth #motivation #mindset #inspiration #happiness #healing #peace #life #health #gratitude #spirituality #nature #wellbeing #namaste #fitness #positivevibes #awareness #loveyourself #mentalhealthawareness #coaching #mindful #spiritual #bhfyp See more

21.01.2022 SHOULD is the most damaging word in our language. Every time we use it we are in effect, saying that we are wrong, or we were wrong, or we're going to be wrong. I would like to take the word SHOULD out of our vocabulary forever and replace it with the word COULD. This word gives us a choice, and we're never wrong. #camomilemeditationgroup #healingwise ... #meditationgarden #wisewomantradition #womanscircle #poetryoflife See more

17.01.2022 Good Morning Well we finally decided on a book for this month Sorry its taken so long into the month. But we have been mindful of issues in our beautiful country and have been focusing our energies and collective vibes on Australia. But now we have chosen this months #camomilemeditationgroupaudiobookclub audio book for January 2020. The Magician of Lhasa... Do you need to have faith to be a Buddhist? Must you believe in certain things and if so, what? Faith may seem unnecessary or irrelevant if you are engaged in a practice-based psychology, which is how many of us regard the Tibetan Buddhist path. But in fact you do need faith or... The story is set..... Tibet March 1959 I am alone in the sacred stillness of the temple, lighting butter lamps at the Buddha’s feet, when I first realize that something is very wrong. Tenzin Dorje! Startled, I turn to glimpse the spare frame of my teacher, silhouetted briefly at the... When novice monk Tenzin Dorje is told by his lama that the Red Army is invading Tibet, his country's darkest moment paradoxically gives him a sense of purpose like no other. He accepts a mission to carry two ancient, secret texts across the Himalayas to safety. Half a century later, in a paradox of similarly troubling circumstances, Matt Lester is called upon to convey his own particular wisdom as a scientist, when Matt's nanotech project is mysteriously moved from London to a research incubator in Los Angeles. Tenzin and Matt embark on parallel adventures which have spine-chilling connections. Tenzin's perilous journey through the Himalayas, amid increasing physical hardship and the ever-present horror of Red Army capture, is mirrored by Matt's contemporary, but no less traumatic challenges, as his passionate relationship with his fiancée, Isabella, and his high flying career undergo escalating crises. It is at the moment when both Tenzin and Matt face catastrophe that their stories converge, spectacularly transforming our understanding of all that has gone before. 16.01.2022 Compassion Fatigue. Trust me when I say you are not alone and you are not abnormal. At the moment its fair to say you’re like most people, the endless stream of news from environmental degradation to humanitarian crises leaves you feeling helpless and exhausted. Instead of feeling inspired to rally for a cause, you feel like hiding from the world. Compassion Fatigue is a very real condition. Compassion fatigue has worsened over the past few years since social media has take...n up permanent residency in most people’s lives. With constant access, push notifications and reminders of climate emergencies, wars, traumas, harassment and violence, more and more people are conjuring less emotion when confronted with startling and shocking images and news. When we shy away from these images, we’re left feeling exhausted and hopeless. This feeling of hopelessness can filter into other aspects of our lives, leading to burnout. Some of the symptoms to look for are.. Depression and a feeling of being helpless. Anxiety and unexplained exhaustion Being easily startled. Difficulty in remaining objective. Certain meditation practices, such as mindfulness, can help overcome compassion fatigue by re-shifting focus which combats rumination over stressful events. Mindfulness meditation practices also alleviate stress due to slow breathing and activating the parasympathetic nervous system and, therefore, the relaxation response. Another important technique in the helping of relieving Compassion Fatigue is to minimize your exposure thru social media This will reduce the saturation and give you time to heal. #camomilemeditationgroup #meditation #yoga #love #mindfulness #spirituality #healing #spiritual #peace #selflove #nature #selfcare #wellness #inspiration #motivation #namaste #life #spiritualawakening #consciousness #gratitude #energy #fitness #reiki #yogalife #yogi #zen #yogainspiration #meditate #art #awakening See more

13.01.2022 Camomile Meditation Group Reasons Why You Should Meditate in a Group 9. The 3 S's of Meditation Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. Seva: Service without regard for the self. In service your actions harm no one and benefit everyone. You spread the influence of peace, which you have found personally in meditation.... Simran: Remembrance. In meditation you contact your source, the true self, and thus you remember who you really are. As you learn more about your true nature, your purpose for being here strengthens. Satsang: Communing with others and sharing knowledge. You want to belong in the community of peace and wisdom, a desire that can be shared with others who are like-minded. Seva brings the joy of knowing that your daily actions support life. You become part of the planet’s evolution, not its degradation. You live in peace with your conscience because you have fulfilled your duty to be a steward of every aspect of nature, down to the most sacred level. Simran brings the satisfaction of expanded possibilities. You are not limited to being one individual lost in a sea of humanity. You find your authentic self and your authentic truth. A unique path to mastery is opened for you and the group at a silent level of expanded awareness. Satsang brings the satisfaction of being at home in the world. The rest of the human family is part of you. Older and younger generations are no longer separated by a gap but work together toward the vision of a world without poverty, ignorance, and violence. #camomilemeditationgroup #meditationgarden #mindbodyspirit #healdocumentary #healingwise #womanscircle #poetryoflife See more

08.01.2022 10 Reasons Why You Should Meditate in a Group 10.Cosmic Consciousness. Sharing this incredible experience is our last and final reason to meditate in a meditation group and not simply alone. As the wise souls at the Chopra center so elegantly put it. We are so used to assigning consciousness only to human thought that it takes some adjustment to see it as universal, or cosmic, applying at all levels. But the label applied to mystics, saints, and sages, both East and West, r...eally denotes those who have escaped the limitations of everyday perception. Their experiences supply abundant evidencethousands of years’ worththat the mind can look at itself and experience what consciousness is. So in the group it is easier for you to strip away all religious associations, higher consciousness is observational and experiential; the mind can look much easier directly at itself rather than outward at things. Things constitute Maya in the Indian tradition, a word somewhat misleadingly translated as illusion but which works better if understood as appearance or distraction. It also implies impermanence. The world out there appears to be self-sustained, distracting us from the truth: Without consciousness, nothing is experienced, either in here or out there. #chopracenter #camomilemeditationgroup #meditationgarden #healdocumentary #mindbodyspirit #healingwise #womanscircle See more
