25.01.2022 Another fantastic weekend just over. We don’t think we will ever get tired of meeting such wonderful people. We are now starting to get repeat guests. We must be doing something right. Just love this life. Thank you to all.

24.01.2022 Well, another weekend has past and we just want to thank all who came and stayed for their short break. We hope you all found our camp to be what you expected. We love meeting you all and to be making so many new friends. We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

24.01.2022 Decorated. I certainly have not done our tree any justice. I don’t have the decorating flair. I will remember the wonderful couple who have stayed with us for many years to come. Thank you Allan and Cathie.

24.01.2022 We think we must be doing something right because we are getting return guest to our peaceful campground. We are only six weeks old and already people are coming back. We thank you so much.

24.01.2022 Currently at Camp on Allyn.

24.01.2022 No, the cleaning of the bathrooms at Camp on Allyn doesn’t really take that long.

24.01.2022 Gresford Show 13th, 14th March 2020. Now that the weather has improved we are sure you are ready to pack your gear and start camping again. Ring 0407389420 and book a site so you can go and have some fun at the great country Gresford Show then come back to your campsite, lay back and relax and take in the country atmosphere. Count the stars at night and listen to the sounds of silence (with the occasional moo) The river is a river once again after the severe drought we have been through. Plenty of green grass to run your feet through. Beautiful lazing under the trees along the river bank. So peaceful.

23.01.2022 A very clever young 11 yr old gave this to me just now. I thank you so much Ava.

23.01.2022 I do get wonderful guests. This was made this morning for Camp on Allyn by one of our guests. Thank you so much Allan we will definitely be thinking of you and Cath every year now. Decorations will go on this afternoon.

22.01.2022 Well we are home again after a beautiful few weeks away. A nice treat to ourselves after getting Camp on Allyn up and running. What a great six months it has been. We opened on October 2017 and found a need to have a break. We cannot Thant my sister Lyn and her husband Barry enough for running the camp while we were away and also thanks to all of our guests. We arrived home and had a very successful happy hour with some of the guest who wanted to come and chat. What a lovely group of people. We don’t do happy hr all the time because we get so busy but when we do we love talking to you. So when you come to stay, listen for the cow bell around 4pm and come and join us at the Retreat.

19.01.2022 Camp on Allyn by night. Beautiful.

19.01.2022 The Allyn River is a natural waterway. Conditions of a river changes constantly. No matter what some think, we have absolutely no control over the water condition. They vary from too deep, too cold, not enough water, not clear enough, too many rocks and logs, current too strong. It all depends on weather conditions, not just ours but where the river is being fed from. So please don’t put us down because the time you were here the conditions were not favourable to you. That is not just for us, that is for anywhere you go on a river. See the attached photos to see various stages. We too depend on the river for pumping water to our stock. This is not always so when in flood or drought.

19.01.2022 Camp on Allyn is a Covid Safe Camp Ground. Please note that bookings must be made in advance by Phone Call Only (do not text, email). I do get very busy at times, so if you ring and call goes to message bank, Please, Please leave a message and I will definitely ring you back. No message, no call back. During this horrible time and until further notice we are not allowing any Day Guests. We do apologies for any inconvenience.

16.01.2022 Just a reminder to all that if you want to come for a visit to check us out, please don’t forget to ring for an appointment. We like our guests to feel that their stuff is safe and can go out for the day knowing that not everyone can drive in off the road. The guests that we have had so far have appreciated the fact that their privacy is being looked after. We are sure that if you come to stay with us you too will appreciate the privacy and security of your stay.

16.01.2022 When I arrived this morning to clean the bathrooms this little guy was waiting for me just outside. He sat for a couple of pictures and then decided it was better at the river.

11.01.2022 Well everyone, other big but great weekend for Camp on Allyn. Tom and I thank you all for coming and making further bookings with us. This tells us we are doing it right. But believe me by saying we can’t do it all without you respecting our request for keeping our camp secure and private while you are on our site. We only want the best for you as our guest. Also, while we are pet friendly it is up to you to follow your pet at all times with a pick up bag and pick up after your pet. It is pretty bad when a non dog guest steps in a doggy doo and then takes it upon himself to go around the camp with shovel in hand. Thank you to all once again for coming.

11.01.2022 As the year is quickly coming to an end "Camp on Allyn" would like to wish you all a very happy, health and safe 2019. Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou. HAPPY NEW YEAR all.
