25.01.2022 Reminder - interested Grade 10 students are off to Claremont College Taster Day tomorrow! The bus will be leaving Campania District School at 8:30am sharp. Students heading to Claremont are allowed to wear free dress. Classes (and school uniform) as normal for the remainder of the Grade 10s.

24.01.2022 7/8 Outdoor Education students Last week we had an amazing time at Chauncy Vale. We found Tasmanian Devil and wombat poo, explored some caves and rock formations and enjoyed the creek. This Friday we will be walking a coastal track from Roches beach to 7 Mile beach. ... Students will need good walking shoes, packed lunch and water bottle and a warm jacket in case. 23.01.2022 Outdoor Education Thursday/Friday This week both Outdoor Education classes will be going to Supaworld Recreation Centre in Hobart. They will have opportunity to use a range of equipment including trampolines & indoor rock climbing. After this we will have some time to explore the waterfront at Cornelian Bay. 22.01.2022 Grade 10 Careers Camp We managed to get a little bit of sleep and this morning we headed to the University of Tasmania Sandy Bay, where we competed in an information scavenger hunt. We got to find our way around the campus, fly drones and meet some Uni staff and students. Then we went to Drysdale where we learnt about the different tourism and hospitality courses they offer. We had a very yummy lunch at Drysdale and are now taking our sleepy and well-fed students the long way back to school. A big thank you to Dale, Sonja, Miss Johnson, Mrs Kingston, Nell and the students.

20.01.2022 We are excited to announce that the Southern Midlands Councils Youth School Holiday Program will go ahead during the upcoming Sept/Oct holiday period! The prog...ram will look slightly different this time to address Covid-19 precautions. The groups will be smaller and the age-groups split. The program is open to residents of the Southern Midlands regardless of where they attend school. Participants will also be asked to nominate a preferred day when booking if booking both activities The activities for the 12 - 16 year age group appear below. Registrations for this program will be taken by phone only and will open at: 9am Wednesday 16th September Ph: 6254 5050 (Kempton Council Offices) There will inevitably be a Waiting List for these activities. 18.01.2022 The year 7/8 Outdoor Education class had a fantastic time at Rockit today. The students represented Campania extremely well with wonderful listening skills, respectful behaviour and a huge amount of bravery. They enjoyed climbing and crawling through the tunnels.

17.01.2022 9/10 Outdoor Education This Thursday the 9/10 Outdoor Education class will be taking the school bikes to the Tolosa Bike Park in Glenorchy. Helmets are compulsory for these excursions. Students are welcome to bring their own bikes and helmets along with them. Thank you, Miss Moran

11.01.2022 Grade 8 Camp The rain had stopped by mid-morning for what was a wonderful day. We all went for a walk to the fossil cliffs, unfortunately we couldn’t do the other walk due to the weather. We got to see lots of wildlife and finished the afternoon with a nice swim in the sea. All happy and enjoying our time.

05.01.2022 Our end of year presentation assembly will be different this year due to Covid 19. We are needing to hold separate K-6 and 7-11 presentation assemblies. This is due to the need to meet physical distancing requirements by minimising the number of guests at each assembly. The K-6 presentation assembly will take place on Wednesday 16th of December from 9:00-10:00 am.Once we have finalised our student award winners we will contact the families of our award winners, inviting two... family members to the presentation. The 7-11 presentation assembly is also on Wednesday 16th of December from 11:30-12:30pm. Again, we will contact the families of our award winners inviting two family members to the presentation. Due to physical distancing requirements we are not able to invite parents of all of our Year 10 students to this assembly. We are holding a final assembly on Thursday 17th of December at 9:30am. We will celebrate all of our award winners here from Kinder to Year 11 and will also take the opportunity to acknowledge our wonderful 2020 class of Year 10. Two parents/family members for each Year 10 student will be invited to this final assembly. Thank you for your understanding and support of these adjustments.

The students all competed and cheered each other on 100% even though it was a very hot day . They displayed awesome sportsmanship qualities and represented Campania extremely well. ... They should feel very proud of their efforts. Congratulations to Cedric, Brandi, Jim, Jaylan, Brooklyn and Bray who have now been selected to compete in the Interhigh Athletics next Thursday.
