22.01.2022 End of a great year at Campania Fire Brigade celebrated at the station tonight. Congratulations to our Junior Brigade. This year they decided what they thought their crew mates should be rewarded for and they did a fabulous job recognising each other’s strengths. Thank you all for coming and help us celebrate.

21.01.2022 Please see below some simple tips from the Department of Health. Please remember that whilst you may be fit and healthy by taking these steps you are protecting those in our community who are not. SHARE AND PRACTISE THE BELOW

21.01.2022 Information from Tas Networks regarding our currently dark situation! Remember if driving in these conditions to SLOW down the roads are icy and extra caution should be taken. Keep safe everyone.! ...
20.01.2022 This weekend three CAMPANIA members completed their level 1 Firefighter training with TFS. We are proud of them and the hard work they have dedicated to this and thank the TFS trainers for, judging by the smiles on their faces on day 4, was a great training. Being a member of the Tasmania Fire Service Community is a journey and we look forward to sharing this ongoing learning, development and service with Zachary Gregson, Carlee Howard and Rupert Calvert. Rupert was waiting outside the district office on the morning of his 10th birthday to join TFS, they say it takes a village to raise a child, it takes the whole TFS community to raise a firefighter. Congratulations team, we can’t wait to have you join us on the truck and the fire ground for many years to come.
20.01.2022 In these uncertain times we want you to be aware that the Campania,Colebrook, Tea Tree and Richmond Fire Brigades want to support our Community. Members of our brigades have come together to develop a digital hub to help you access some of the support you might need at times of social distancing and isolation. If you or someone you know is experiencing difficulty keeping in touch, getting the groceries or even walking the dog you can contact the number, email or messenger on the flyer below and we will link you up with a member of our community that can help. At challenging times we believe it is important for us to pull together to keep our community safe.
18.01.2022 Monday is a day of total fire ban.
17.01.2022 ***Hang in there - Coal River Family and co. *** We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy Easter Easter 2020 sure doesn't look like we thought it would but we can still all choose to enjoy this fractured situation. ... Please take a moment and remind yourself when ever you need to be kind to yourself and more patient than usual with your partner and children we are all missing our regular activities, friends and normal routine. THIS IS NOT FOR EVER - Write down all those things you wish you were doing so that you do them!! When restrictions are lifted. In hind sight this will seem like such a small time in the years to come. Our community support initiative continues to gain momentum and we as a community continue to do what we've always done best - stand together. Remember to take the number down pass it to any friends and family who may need it. We stand with you and as a community we will get through this.
15.01.2022 ATTENTION CAMPANIA!! In place of our regular easter hunt we are asking you to pop a teddy or piece of artwork in your window on Easter day for children to be able to look at on their family walk We have plans for a TEDDY BEAR PICNIC when the time is right ... Remember to find the fun in each day
14.01.2022 Just a casual evening at the office

13.01.2022 TFS has declared a total fire ban on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for the eastern half of the state. A total fire ban means it is illegal to light or to cause a... fire in the open. This includes (but is not limited to) incinerators, burn-offs, campfires, fire pots, and wood-fuelled barbecues. The total fire ban applies to municipalities in the north and south: Break O'Day, George Town, Northern Midlands, Dorset, Launceston, West Tamar, Flinders, Meander Valley, Brighton, Derwent Valley, Hobart, Sorell, Central Highlands, Glamorgan Spring Bay, Huon Valley, Southern Midlands, Clarence, Glenorchy, Kingborough, and Tasman. More information on Total Fire Bans and incidents in your area can be found at www.fire.tas.gov.au or by listening to ABC Radio.
13.01.2022 Thankfully we have good sealing masks, as the air quality isn't the best at times. Cheers to the TFS At the Jinden fire NSW.
