15.01.2022 Well... it looks like everyone is getting out and about with heaps of people going fishing for them spring yellows and going out on the water in boats and kayaks and having a crack trying to catch some fish and it also looks like the fish are starting to switch on around this area so hopefully everyone can keep it and keep on fishing !! With Nathan Riding and his mate getting a few nice little cod and some beautiful nice sized yellow belly down near Rochester... great work mate keep at it ! 13.01.2022 Hope everyone is enjoying The first couple days of cold season comment your first fish for cod season in the comments if you have managed to get a fish. So my cod opening I went to Lake Mulwala to do the cod classic for 2018 with my uncle and 2 cousins, The cod classic was a very fun time and very good experience. For those who haven’t been to lake mulwala I hope use all get a chance to go and it is a very good place to fish. Over the weekend I managed to get to 2 cod undersized and one cod on the Friday before cod opening. My uncle managed to get one little tiny cod on the troll released back into the water. Here are some photos of the fish we caught from the weekend at Lake Mulwala. I had the great pleasure of meeting the 2 greatest Glenn Casey & Rod Mackenzie . Hope yous all have a good cod season and send in your catches !!!
