19.01.2022 Today marks Purple Day, a global initiative aimed at raising epilepsy awareness to demonstrate that we provide an inclusive service. Our services regularly facilitate open discussions with children to create awareness of additional needs and how everyone can work together so that all feel supported. Our service at Hillarys Primary School in WA, our first service to become an Epilepsy Smart service, continues to wear purple with pride and has organised a range of activities to raise awareness for epilepsy. #epilepsyawareness

Discussions create opportunities for children to understand the importance of recycling. The theme of ‘Always Was, Always Will Be.’ celebrates First Nations people and gives respect and gratitude for the land in which we live on today. This week in Outside School Hours Care, the children have taken part in meaningful discussions and activities to engage in reconciliation, respect and recognition of the world’s oldest continuous living cultures. 05.01.2022 Join us for Wheeling Around day at where children can bring along their own set of wheels, from bikes, blades, scooters and skateboards. A safety session will get them started, and they’ll get the chance to become road designers, creating a road circuit outside with some real road signs. Children will get to wheel around with their friends, decorate their own display skateboard with some funky stencils and high-tech air brush markers to take home for display. 05.01.2022 A huge congratulations to all children who entered The Big Art & Expression Competition. The response was overwhelming, with over 2,200 entries and over 21,000 votes. The winners will be contacted today, and we will share their creations next week for everyone to see.
