25.01.2022 Awesome day today for the Campbell Racing crew have had a good day across the 4 classes Donny Davis in KA3 junior consistently up front Great effort buddy Ryan... Davis Wild Bill in Cadet 12 Having limited practice is performing above our expectations still running in the middle of the pack and is battling hard but is making progress great work little man Glenn Mcdougall running consistently in fifth position on both races great work Wonky Donkey Nicola McDougall And myself, a third in heat one but after a penalty for another kart, seen me elevated to 2nd place & in heat 2 I had misjudged the start due to the field not being formed up and not expecting a start therefore missing the opportunity on the start. Managed to hold on for a third at the chequered flag. Well done to all the open competitors who completed all racing laps..................................

23.01.2022 WA state championship 2020 Cadet12 Wild Bill had exceeded our expectations with a rocky start to the event, he made a few spots and lost a few as well. Even made a few brief top ten positions- well done young man. ... KA3 junior Donny Davis started of the weekend showing good speed. Qualified in 8th position due to a very last minute coil change out with only a few minutes to throw a lap- top effort Ryan Davis From there Donny kept working hard to work his way forward, although this trend did not continue in the prefinal and the final, with get caught up in incidents and having to work hard to come back to finish 13th overall. Was a great effort and we are all very proud of your result regardless of the incidents. KA3 Heavy Glenn Mcdougall provided a very consistent performance in his PINK frame throughout the heats, with a little luck in the final was able to pull off a 3rd place. Well done Glenn, such a great end to a big weekend WA Open Performance Greg Campbell had a consistent performance in the heats & made some set up changes for the prefinal seen the kart a little better to drive although caught in some traffic finishing in 5th - good vibes for the final! More setup tweaks - only to DNF the final, due to a fouled spark plug halfway through the formation lap & was unable to clear it. Given that Greg DNf’d the final his performance was getting better. Such a shame, as the kart was coming on & would have been a good contender in the final. Special thanks to Glenn for helping with William and taking our karts down and back. Ryan for your assistance throughout the weekend. BSport for the engines that we ran for the weekend Karen Campbell (& all the other stewards and volunteers) for selflessly Stewarding for the weekend - giving up there time Super happy with the weekend for all of the Campbell Racing team. Also a big CONGRATULATIONS to Brandon Duncombe for taking 1st in the KA3 medium class - well done young man. 12.01.2022 Round 1 Race Report. Huge thanks to the amazing crew from Exmouth Kart Club for putting on a sensational weekend of racing. William had a slow start to the weekend trying to muster motivation to race. With no practice, no set up and last year's tyres he managed to come away with second place. Charlotte drove like a complete star in the first heat coming away with second place. She continued to drive well for the day but unfortunately the points system didn't work in her favo...r. She came away with 5th for the day. Greg managed to string together 5 complete heats with no issues and a load of pace winning 4 of the 5 heats and winning the day. We had the pleasure of sharing our pit space with a couple of other legends over the weekend. Donny Davis put in a Stella effort racing 2 classes and coming away with the win in both. Westy the silver fox made the effort to travel from Perth to share the fun and enjoyment for racing in the North West. Westy may not have ended the weekend on the podium but it was a great weekend of fun. Huge thanks to Adam & Leah Watkins for their hospitality and letting us camp at their place, a pool, an air conditioner amd amazing food made the 41 degs almost bareable. Thanks to Ryan Davis for the help with karts and tyre changing. Thanks to Westy for the pep talks, they really made a huge difference.
