22.01.2022 A grey box log... One of few timbers with 100% relative heat.

20.01.2022 Why sell firewood by weight??? Different species of hardwood have different densities. River Redgum can weigh 30% less most box varieties. So a cubic meter, scoop or trailer means you are getting up to 30% less energy (heat). Most suppliers intentionally sell their product this way maximise profit.... We provide a consistent product. Weight = energy = heat. These crates are weighed to 500kg. See more

18.01.2022 Winter 2019 is well and truly here. I’m cutting red gum for most of the season nice and dry but a little lighter than the box I’ve been cutting previous. Because of this the price has reduced to match the weight. Crates-$110 pick up (400-450kg) Ute load- (2 cubic metres) $240 delivered... Truckloads -4 cubic metres(approx 2 tonne) $450 -6 cubic metres (approx 3 tonne) $600 -8 cubic metres (approx 4 tone) $800 Delivered to Wagga (additional fees out of town, just ring for a quote) Call Micka Campbell 0488769377 See more

18.01.2022 1 tonne of seasoned premium box firewood and pine kindling. Pick up from Oura $200 Delivered to Wagga $240 18% hotter than redgum. www.campbellsfirewood.com.au

17.01.2022 Still plenty of dry firewood in stock $200 pick up per tonne (2 500kg crates) or $240 delivered to Wagga.

17.01.2022 Just doing the last load for the week... Sold about 15 tonne this week... Last year our first deliveries were early May!

15.01.2022 Bulk deliveries available. This is a bulk load delivered to junee today.

15.01.2022 This is one of our half tonne crates stacked against a wall all this for $100 pick up from Oura. 20% more efficient than redgum when compared by weight. 36% more efficient when comparing by the square metre.

12.01.2022 If you have a small fire, pot belly stove or anything that requires small timber we have this finely split blue gum available. So if you have to split normal sized blocks again this will save a lot of hassle.

12.01.2022 One tonne of premium grey and red box firewood and pine kindling. Pick up from Oura $200. Tipper delivered to Wagga $240. Our box timber is 18% hotter, 20% heavier than river redgum and burns to a fine white ash, not black coal clumps. ... Guaranteed dry with moisture test available. See more

08.01.2022 Buying your firewood buy the trailer here's what you should know. Stacked or tossed- the difference between the weight of stacked or tossed is massive when filling our crates if tossed it is 30-40% less. Wood density- most box timber weighs around 1.1 tonne per m3, river redgum weighs 900kg. That's a solid m3 of timber with no gaps, not split. That's 20% difference in physical appearance yet the same energy. For a list of common timbers and densities go to http:/www.campbell...sfirewood.com.au/#!firewood-facts/cj4c Relative heat- grey box's relative heat is 100%. The most common timber in our region is river redgum it's relative heat is 81%. What's relative heat? How much heat (kj) per weight (grams). 19% difference. Wood moisture- this can be the biggest influence in firewood efficiency. Firewood that isn't seasoned (which is more common when buying from trailers) gives of less than 50% of the heat of timber that is seasoned to below 20%. Here's how eliminate the variables: Timbers energy is related to weight so buy it buy weight, this means that even if you are buying a light timber you will GET MORE. Ask what timber it is if they don't know don't buy it. Last of all ask for a moisture test or buy your own $30 from jay car and if it reads over 20% don't buy it.

06.01.2022 Hi guys Just an update for the 2018 season. We are still doing 1 tonne deliveries but we also have a 3 tonne tipper that a lot of customers have been taking advantage and stocking up early. Cheers Mick

05.01.2022 Fires on at the black swan hotel.... Doing heaps of deliveries this week. $240 a tonne delivered with pine kindling included.

04.01.2022 We would like to thank everyone for their support this season... We are unable to supply anymore firewood due to an extremely cold winter, high rainfall, competitors running out of stock and high demand for our timber. We hope to supply all our existing customers again next year and will be offering early bird specials for next winter. Have a good summer from Mick and the Campbell family.

04.01.2022 New toy won't stay shiny for long.

02.01.2022 Due to excessive wet weather our stock is running a little low... We are still able to supply most orders but the more notice the better Please call 69221216 for all pick up orders. Cheers Mick

02.01.2022 One of our 1/2 tonne crates $100 pick up from Oura or 1 tonne (2 crates) and delivery for $240. Includes free pine kindling.

01.01.2022 Petrol is sold by the litre, not by the tank. So why buy firewood by the "load/trailer/scoop". Stacked, tossed or timber species are all variables that make it impossible to know what you get. All of these trailers have weighed 500kg/half tonne. So unless your the jellybean jar guessing champion give us a call or visit our website. www.campbellsfirewood.com.au

01.01.2022 We have had a lot of enquirers this week about stocking up early with firewood. We do have stock and are delivering as of this week. We will be holding last years price of $200 a tonne until the end of April. Prices will increase modestly to $220 a tonne after that.

01.01.2022 One tonne of premium box firewood Delivered to Wagga $240 Pick up from Oura $200 1/2 tonne increments. Free pine off cuts for kindling.
